Situations like that are sometimes caused by a centralized distribution point with the Retailer. You'll probably need to ask them for more specifics.

you just buy it through Impulse, and order the boxed version - they will send you the cd-key via e-mail

Was at gamestop today, they said tuesday morning they should have it.

The problem with that is that then you have to pay for shipping. And it's not necessarily very cheap. It shows an estimate of ten dollars for me, I don't know how it is for folks in other parts of the world.
