While going through today's press releases, I found this interesting one from German game company, Headup Games:
Headup Games has announced the launch of the official website to their upcoming game, Trapped Dead – the first tactical zombie survival game. Trapped Dead is a tactical real time strategy game where players control their characters in a 3rd person isometric view through a mature Zombie survival scenario inspired by the successful Horror movies of the early 80s.

It sounds similar to Kerberos' Fort Zombie, but I think it looks a bit better (click on the external link).
Might be worth a look-see when it comes out.
If they do this properly it could be a great game.
It sounds a bit like Left 4 Dead, a bit like Fort Zombie, and a bit like Nation Red. It either is going to be a forgettable bit of derivative trash, or a great combination of ideas. There's rarely a middle ground with games like this.
