What is up with having to install Impulse (a piece of crap adware / bloatware product) to install DreamScapes as a paid customer?! WTF doesn't the trial require this annoying piece of trash?! WTF are you guys doing jerking off your "PAYING CUSTOMERS"!? Are you guys an itsy bitsy bassackwards!? Fix it!!
ugh, it's a tool for convenience. It can manage and update all of your stardock applications. It doesn't harm your system or do anything bad. It can easily be turned off or uninstalled. Stop whining. Oh and by the way, it clearly says it's required.
Firstly, Stardock don't sell DreamScapes. It's DeskScapes. If you can't get a simple thing like that right, I can understand your bassakwards attitude about Impulse.
Secondly, your attitude is just flat out silly. Why does everyone complain about Impulse? Do you complain that you have to use Windows Update to get you Windows Updates? Hell no. Impulse is much less invasive than windows update.
It's a good thing I'm not Frogboy.
I'd just put it like this on all ads for Stardock Products.
You get Impulse or you don't get anything, live with it!!!
If you are running your OS from a flash drive, then you have a gripe, otherwise, get over it.
With your attitude, you won't get many nice, sweet replies. I get so sick of the whining over Impulse........
Oh, how nice, oh how convient, oh how adware trash. Thanks, I'm definately getting a refund. this is shit.
I run Impulse maybe once a week, to check for updates. I hardly even know I have it. Come on guys, we have real issues to deal with.
Dear dialupmodem2:
Nobody cares.
Oh, and upgrade to broadband. We're living in the future now.
Sincerely,
A rational human being.
fuck yourself dexter
This is the 3rd or 4th Thread this week about "how Impulse sucks"! I don't see any reason for a thread like this. i mean, what is Impulse: It's a Client to install / uninstall or update Stardock Software, nothing less nothing more... ...so what the fuck is wrong with people who write those shit? So, many programs have an autoupdate function and what is the Windows Updater?, ...right, it's the same thing. You start Impulse to install a program, you start Impulse once a week to look for updates and that's it!
...and by the way, people should look for the requirements before buying a prodcut!
Go away.
