Please someone tell me this is not dead. from first time i played sins i thought how similar it was to EVE.
really hope you guys are still trying to put this out and i will make sure i send some isk your way in EVE if it gets finished for sure.

never played eve but playing this mod certainly makes me want to give it a go.
and the models are really detailed BTW.
this is starting to look alot of fun.
I used to work on a lil homeworld 2 mod and had about 45% of the ships in eve and weapons in there with effects n stuff but after a hdd going completely dead i lost all of it then sins came out and had a quick go but never had the time to put efford into it. Build in a nyx n stuff with fighters looked cool n all but heh thats all i done on sins

page. I try to keep that up-to-date etc.
As for right now, I am watching rebellion closely to really give this mod full life in Sins. A few of the old crew are starting to message me again so hopefully we can finish the model conversion, Im sorry but at this point I have no idea on how to put the turrents on these models or if thats possible to make them really eve like.
So the project looks like this:
Stay supportive! I know for me checking the forums and modDB site and seeing the fans wanting it, well thats what makes me keep going!!!

New ships being added, Gus89 has been hard at work while i was slacking!
I've played EVE for 3+ years and am familiar with nearly all the ships in game. If you want any help, myfist or whomever, just give me a ring.
yea Evil im in need of people to do grunt work like all the GUI stuff for researching and what not... If u wanna get involved well just open the file in the mod and start changing the ships from sins to eve ships! I would love that load off my shoulders as we are deep in models and particles atm!

Please check modDB site we are pumping out new images with an Amarr release on the horizon folks!
As many of you have seen we have been attacking the Amarrian Race to add into this next release. The biggest not for the coming release is the ships are all but completely in the game for the Amarr, Gallente, and Caldari.
With all the attention the mod is getting we have now some additional pod pilots hard at work the mods additional features. IE. Digitalmind has begun work on the GUI to convert the sins GUI into a transparent overlay much like that of EvE's current HUD. Gilly666 is also going to be working on the HUD Icons for all the upcoming ships in this next release.
All the music from EvE is in the mod we just need the other race files to use the EvE music, we will reduce the load on sins by merging the races music to mostly use the standard EvE tunes.
Balancing and ship values will be our next target but you will not see this in the next release. At the same time we are going developing particle fx to that of eve likeness and moving towards EvE like abilities as well.
Gus_89 is master and commander of getting the EvE models into eve, please by all means rub his feet and erm whatever else he requires. Without him the daunting task of this mod was too much! Thanks for the help mate!
My goal is a June 15th release date on the next version (.06Alpha).
Please keep up the community involvement, your pressure and chomping at the bit for this mod keeps us going!

There's only two complaints I have:
1. RELEASE NAO
2. The Rokh fired missiles. It should not fire missiles. It should fire railgun slugs.
Agreed... the Rokh is a Railgun platform, I know this well because it was the last ship I got in EVE online before I quit and it's a nasty railgun platform.
Granted the Caldari are missile junkies, the Rokh is the only battleship class that is designed to use railguns I have one beef with the video... you seriously need to work on the grammar. Invaded... died... wth? should be invade and die >.>

Getting bored with Starcraft 2 so going back to play some of my old favorites. Came back here to the sins modding board and what do I see? Why I see a mod for the best damn space MMO ever on the best damn space RTS/4X game ever...

Honestly I am shocked that CCP let you use their stuff I remember someone wanted to make a EVE mod for Homeworld 2 and they got a cease and desist letter. I assume they did not ask for permission though.
