I don't like the way you select some thing as they are now, and once we start making addons it would just be horrifying to select the thing that fits you. here are three easy 7 second photoshops showing my suggestion for how to fix it. By menu I mean a scrollable grid view that shows as many of the selectable assets as possible. There you click the one that looks best.
Seconded. Also the option to only allow 'non-custom' races/sovereigns for the choice of AI players, whilst still being random, would be nice. (Same for galciv2 ).
Absolutely; Scrolling through a list is not as easy as selecting from a pulldown menu of all the options. Good idea!
Agree wholeheartedly.
Anything to cut down on brainless clicking would be swell. The game is already smart enough to 'dumb down' the 3D art for weaker vid cards like mine; it should also be able to get the most out of a rig in terms of basic UI tasks.
