I found a few games coming out that I'm oddly enough looking forward to greatly. Why is that "odd" you might ask? Well, I normally don't get into FPS type games anymore. Of course there are the classics I loved like Unreal Tourney and Half-life, but as far as shooters go in my eyes they are mostly "played out". Now days they mix genres like FPS/RPG etc etc. Usually just a gimmick that ends up either limiting the shooting aspect or limiting the RPG aspect or in the worst case, both.
Some of these games have been awesome though in my opinion. Such as DeusEx 2, Fallout 3, Oblivion, etc etc you know the type.
There are two new games coming out though that I think are going on my "Must Buy" list. The first one is DeusEx 3. Check out this trailer.
The next game is called "Bulletstorm", by Epic Game....and man it looks EPIC. The game-play footage here is awesome and reminds me heavily of the original UT mixed with some Quake. Check it out on Youtube here.
Both of these games look simply amazing. It's gonna be a good year or two for gaming I think. Provided the whole system doesn't go completely over to needing to be "on-line" 24/7.
How can wilebill have issues with playing with his kills? Coming up with new and ever more brutal ways to murder your foes is awesome. He must have issues with Dawn of War sync-kills and the God of War fatalities too...
Ok I almost like the trailer as much as TOR Trailer. I am really enjoying the music.
Perfect Dark was recently released for XBLA, that's a really good shooter if you didn't try it in N64 lots of years ago

Here is a preview on Deus Ex on IGN. It sounds good. Lets keep hoping that it will deliver the goods!

Yeah, I'm worried about this one too. I read a small article about this in PCGamer and it sounds like they are watering down some areas. I was really excited about it but now it's just wait and hope I'm wrong about it.
That's a good preview. I'm liking the sounds of it. Now lets just hope they don't screw it up.
In my pcgamer it lists the producer as Square Enix... the Dev is Eidos Montreal which is a part of Square Enix.
It also mentions that no one that worked on the first 2 games will be working on this one. It also says more of the rpg elements will be stripped so that your actual shot accuracy wont be modified by stats.

I just finished watching EA's Live Press Conference from E3. They showed BulletStorm in action...all I got to say is HOLY S*&T!!! Man this shooter is going to be the best shooter since the original UT.
OH YA! Did you see the new TOR Trailer! or the Metal Gear Rising when you cut people up (and melons) into pieces!
Unfortunately I only caught part of it (was watching live). I saw a few seconds of the new ToR trailer. After being burned by STO I think I'm done with MMO's for a while except maybe with the exception of A.P.B. and that's only because of their payment method.
For now I'm waiting for either Gamespot to the whole conference hosted or for it to get uploaded to YouTube and then I'll sit down and watch the whole thing. Don't forget there are some more live conferences tomorrow and Wed.

Both of those were freaking Awesome , thanks bro. I love that the new Metal Gear is coming out on the 360. I haven't played the ones that have been Playstation exclusives.
