Has anyone else been having this problem lately? At least half the time I try to post, the forums go Boom and my post is eaten. And it's periodic; for example, I've tried to post something like 5 times in the past 10 minutes but it won't work. But I posted something earlier in the day and it worked just fine, but the day before I couldn't post anything either.
Also, if this post works, I will cry.

I am not sure whats going on but my shortcut to recent most times dont go but if I click on a favorite post I'm in and can go to recent once I'm in. But the posts seem to be going in better. No more booms since the update.
For the last 18 hours or so I have been having issues with the main page loading. When I click on my toolbar bookmark in FF, I get a page loading notice for a minute or so then nothing, just a white blank page. FF says that it is done, but clearly something is amiss. I cannot use the refresh button because it is not highlighted, so I have to close the tab and try again. Sometimes I have to repeat this process up to 3 or 4 times before I get the page to display properly.
Like I said, this has been occurring for around 18 hours or so, not that I'm overly upset by it or anything, but I thought that I'd mention it to see if it coincides with anyone else's experiences.

Been getting the same thing Mark! And in the forums I'm getting broken up margins and images now...or just a white page.
At about 8AM this morning one of our web devs noticed that a setting was wrong for our servers hosting the forums. This setting was changed while we were trying to figure out the Demigod forums problem from earlier, and was never changed back. This has been fixed, so you should not be getting the "page not found" or "connection reset" errors anymore. Apologies for the mistake.
And yes, it is "occasional." According to our database logs, there are maybe ~50 errors out of the many thousands of requests we get daily. I'm not saying 50 is not a lot, because it is, and we are trying to get that down to 0. But as far as how it compares to the overall usage of the site, it doesn't compare... hence my usage of the word "occasional." Don't take this as me not believing you guys when you get these errors, I'm just saying don't get upset over it

In your plans to tweak the BBcode, have you considered adding tags for spoiler boxes, video embedding, tables and cells +?
And will you allow for the missing {br /} ?
I hadn't seen that, no. Looks awesome. I personally prefer more subtle skins but that looks great for a DT-themed skin.
Someone should make one that is based more on the Dark Tower itself and less on the Gunslinger or the "wild west" theme. Lots of blacks (for the Dark Tower), reds (for the roses surrounding it), and blues (for the bright sky). I'm not sure what I'll be doing just yet. I want to do some research in just how much work will need to be done on the editor side of things.
Although spoiler boxes and video embedding are definitely two things I'll want to add regardless. Tables you'll have to figure out yourself if I keep HTML on, and if I turn off HTML I'll see what I can do.
And what's wrong with the break tag?

No booms, but I notice almost no lag with Palemoon and ie...but Opera 10.6 can cause infinite load times...
Nice and fast today, shocker, considering on weekends its usually a minefield.
As I've commented before, maybe your database logs are an issue, maybe they aren't logging correctly, thus making it appear to you that the problems are only occasional
