As you move up in questing skill the majority of the quests still seem to come from Inns. Modifying the game so that the majority of quests come from random locations would feel more organic. This does not really require new graphics sets.
As an example: One a new quest is triggered it may show up on a untapped wheat field or orchard. Saying that beasts are raiding the crops. You can venture there and take care of the quest from there. This gives the game world a more organic feeling and avoids the "Spreadsheet" feeling that it currently has.

I think it would be nice if, Quest Caverns and Quest Dungeons, expanded into a larger "map" when you walked upon them (with the intent to complete the quest) ... now, at this point in time, you could either "leave" the tile from the entrance, or you could continue onwards and complete the quest.
