Having just gotten into the beta on this last pass I have been playing catch up trying to understand the mechanics of the game. So to help me get up to speed faster I played a game out to turn 1251. All I did was research and build and compiled all the info i could on buildings and research. Hopefully this will help others also get up to speed and allow constructive feedback on the game mechanics, economy and research.
Now everyone needs to understand obviously with this being as early a beta as this is. Probably most of this info will change. If there is enough interest i'll try to keep these posts (This and the following ones i'll do on research) up to date with evey change. also these are works in progress as even though I try it will take quite a few passes to get and compile all the information. Problem with trying to do it on one is size and neatness. Already learned the hard way when I typed it all out and lost it trying to cram it in a single post
Helpful post XeronX. I would be interested in something similiar showing troop buildup times. How long to get troops out? Would like to see earliest times for each level of tech. I only looked at first 3 Peasant, Pioneer and Soldier. I also upgraded a Soldier Design. +1 Karma for you.
well I am going to finish this one, then mind dump all the info I collected when I capped out researching Civ, Warfare, and Magic.
After that I can start looking into a guide on equiptment and troops
