ALLIANCE, HIDDEN AGENDA’S
A small, simple mod designed for “Diplomacy” expansion.
The mod adds 3 new capital ships to the game that are accessed through diplomatic research, 1 for each race. Each ship has 2 new abilities.
The aim of the mod is to just add to Sins a little without taking away the Sins aspects that make it a great game.

I don't know yet. All I know is that it definitely works on my computer, which is about 4 years old. I have only been modding for about a year and this is the first mod I have ever released.

Change Log;- Fixed starbase constructors, anti module frigates & Vasari Mine layer MainViewIcons.- Fixed typo on Deploy Antimodule turret.- Telekinetic Push Plus re-named and buffed to show push effect on frigates better. Also fixed Auto cast so it only fires in battle, range reduced Level:1 from 5200 to 4600, Level:2 from 6200 to 5000.- Plasma Torpedos now has auto cast on default.- Re-done textures on Kosovza beams. If anybody would still like the green one's their texture's are still their, you will just need to change them back in the Kosovza's entity file.- Re-done textures on Talak Distructor to better match Vasari.- Re-done texture on Kosovza build button to better match others.
To install, just extract striaght into "Alliance, Hidden Agenda's" mod folder.

1.01 Change log.-Button textures re-done.Tech SB's weapon upgrade button no longer shows pictures of frigates when pressed.-Distructor beam now fires from both weapons at once instead of sporadically from 1 or the other- Vasari Anti module turret is now able to move slowly, max.amount deployed reduced from 3 to 2, so capitals that deploy them are not so impeded by them. Also the cool-down time increased to level 0;90 from 20 level 1;85 20 level 2;80 20

Sweet Mini Mod man,The New Vassari capital is a sight to behold, noticed on little thing that looks a little odd though when I got one to its ultimate ability, and it fires is disintegration beam, it fires from the right destructor battery rather than the weapons hard point on the undercarriage (the large fixed cannon) which looks like it was put there for the ultimate ability but currently does not seem to do anything?No game breaker but I thought I'd just bring it up to see if it was working as intended.Oh yeah. . . A cool name for your telekinetic push plus ability would be telekinetic shock wave.Keep up the good work dude

What version are you using? the Distructor beam fires from both left and right simultaneously in the latest version 1.01. In 1.00 I hadn't quite got that working and it just fires from either randomly.
And Yeah! the cannon on the under carriage was intended for another ability I had in mind when I was developing it. I was going to make a nano type weapon out of it but it ended up being to similar to " Disintegration" so I replaced it with the Attack turret. I guess you could imagine it as being part of the distructor beams targeting system now or something.
The latest version The destrctor beams fire fine from both batteries, and look most awesome. I was just thinking you should make the underside weapon where the disintegration beam fires from cos it would look awesome It fires from the right destructor turret at the moment, as I said its no game changer just an aesthetic change.It's been a long time since I modded myself on in the days of home world 2
The Distant Stars team have kindly given permission to release a DS.7+AHA. integrated version for us to enjoy. I have balanced the The AHA capitals to what I think fits in better with DS capitals. If you have any suggestions on some fine tuning in that regard, please feel free to comment.

be careful with your short hand there of DS.7 because there is a mod known as Deadly Sins 7 or DS7

Just dont put the .7 at the end of it. End of possible Confusion.
That short hand might have been my fault acctually. I used it when asking for help merging the two mods for my personal version.
The internet corrupts us all eventually with its acronyms and abbreviations(case and point America On Line>AOL>AIM and abbreviated abbreviation, the English teachers of the world wept that day). at least you don't talk like this."hey r u ding any atm?" I also learnt grammar AND spelling but in first class, and it WAS BEATEN into us with canes, and unlike you I do NOT understand the three letter acronyms, and treat them in the same manner as the FOUR letter words(obscenity)
if a person does not have a moderate size vocabulary I have MAJOR difficulties communicating with them and I choose to walk away shaking my head in dissapointment.

lol, anyway back on topic, the new release as the fused bit of DS the player portraits are repeating in the 2nd and 3rd windows(1 is 1, 1 is 2, 2 is 3) think you fixed this before with the brush files but I'm probably wrong lol. anyway just letting you know

Well I was never really any good at English (Grammar) at school. In fact I barely passed. Reading no problem. Spelling atrocious. I love "Spelling Checker". It is important I think, especially if people with a foreign language are ever going to understand what you are writing.
This short hand stuff is alright between people who know each other quite well I suppose, but generally communicating on the internet to the broader population, it would be nice if people dropped the habit. I am guilty of it myself sometimes, especially if someone is communicating to me in that manner.
I'm more talking about people not forming a coherent sentence than misspelling or a little word misplacement everyone's guilty of that, and yes, spell check is a great assist no matter who's typing

I have a moderately effective method of convincing the entities that fail to communicate that they have failed to communicate.
I ask them if they speak english, and if I do not understand the answer I REPEAT the question until
1 they go insane,
or
2 they succeed in communicating with me without using any of the acronyms or obsenities.
so far the younger people or those from other languages tend to answer 1 and older people tend to answer 2
something unimportant and probably not really necessary to change lol but the DS fighters/bombers don't show up in the A,HA ships, but then again not a big issue, probably not even needed to change. Just somethign to look at if you want to change it, I'm fine either way .

I'm glad you like it. I am currently working on adding to the mod. Still have only made 70% of 1 model and I am also ironing out some bugs in the Distant Stars + Alliance, hidden agenda's combo, so it will be at least a couple of months away yet. Depends how busy things get with work also.
Take stuff out look bland please! Me don't like green guns on advent capship. But model is nice
This what me thinks make mod better!. Fill in bland stuff, make vasari cap look more vasari, Give more research.
The plasma torpedo tubes? they are a little square. I will put it on my list, but I want to get the other half of the mod out first. The next half will give more research.
Another issue I have found with the Distant Stars + A,ha's. I have found is that when selecting what race to play, the left mouse button doesn't work. The other races are still selectable however by using the right mouse button. I will fix this for the next update.
