...and is it a guarantee to get into the upcoming beta 2? And if so I download it in Impulse? I am unfamiliar with Impulse - but I do have it installed and would I gain access to the download in "registrations" under account?
Well, I talked it over with my friend some today. Like I said before, they have a habit of releasing builds on Thursdays it seems, and my friend said that, at least in his experience, the new builds/patches show up in his Impulse between 5-7 PM, on average. (That's on the Time Zone of the forums btw, not his TZ.) My guess, however, is they'll release it once they've got whatever they want ironed out ironed out...
They process the order either when Access is given, or when you start downloading the build... I'm unclear as to which it is, but either way, it's -supposed- to coincide with access to the Beta being granted in some way or another... Or at least, that's how I've come to understand it.
In order to download the build, you need to have a valid EWOM serial key associated with your e-mail and that requires to have your order processed
Ah, thanks for clarifying for us. ^^
I don't want to spam the boards with silly topics, so I'll ask here from the older betatesters: do we get an e-mail notification when a new beta version is up or is it only announced here on the webpage?
There is a news post whenever we launch a major new build.
Thanks.
I have only an order number in the reciept, so how does one get a valid EWOM serial key?
They'll be sending them out via E-Mail once the next build goes live... So tomorrow...
*Sniffle sniffle* Ah well, one more day probably won't kill me....... Probably.... >.>
I'm sure we've laid this out elsewhere, but here's how it works guys:
Pre-orders are not always charged instantly. When the beta access window is open, we process orders immediately, but otherwise, when you pre-order a game from us, you sit in a sales queue until we want to grant beta access again.
Whether you've been charged instantly or been sitting in a queue and then charged when we opened the access window, the game will be attached to your impulse account once the charge completes successfully. In order to see it on the games tab of Impulse, you need to have "Show Pre-Release (Alpha/Beta) versions" checked in the Impulse menu, under Preferences->General.
That's pretty much all there is to know.
