Then how did you come to the conclusion that McDonalds company does this? I'm thinking that maybe it was a specific store of McDonalds, that the manager was doing what, for who-knows-why (maybe to suit his....umm needs), and made you think that its some sort of company policy?

First of all, I want to say, that these things dont happen in my country, so I assume that this is a US thing.

3rd, About the whole homosexual thing, there must be some purpose that involves profit, otherwise there's no reason to do this.
Lastly, There's a different thing, thats really common in my country:
A talented (or not, doesnt matter) actress, wants to make her debut in a TV series or a movie. The producer (or director, w/e), will take advantage of that, and well, will ask the young actress for some sort of payment, in order to hire her. This form of payment, is not money, if you know what I mean. (This happens 95% for the female gender only)
Same goes for singers, and (rarely), administrative jobs in big companies.

Stuff that's racist to white people happens in Britain as well.
There was, a few years back, the shocking revelation that the majority of a town had just been made redundant. THey worked at some government offices, but the offices were moved to a city far away from there. The reason? There weren't enough non-white people in the town that the offices were in.

Well, I'm "white", in that I look (and dance; or so I'm told) like a white boy. In actuality I count as "Hispanic other" as I'm part Portuguese (gonna use that for collegial financial aid).
But I mean really, racism is so ridiculous and (to me at least) is based on the (ridiculous) presumption that humankind is made up of several "races" of humans that are all slightly different.
My family knows a man who owned his own construction firm; he eventually left it (I'm 99% sure he did anyway; now he's a fulltime pastor) because the shareholders/stockholders wanted him to hire homosexuals just because they were homosexuals. His personal morals and beliefs completely counter that demand. He ended up leaving the business he built.
I think it's funny how you subtly change your sig to reflect part of the topic at hand.

Supposedly they gain the support of a minority group. Personally I think it's fucking idiocy (harsh language only begins to describe it) to cater to a bunch of minority groups that even taken together might not rival the size of the majority; additionally if you cater to many minority groups, there's almost certainly going to be some opposing interests between some of those groups.
Contrast that to the majority that for the most part has a unified opinion.

Now, THAT is something solid. And I am wondering "why didnt I think of this?". Sounds reasonable enough, considering how politicians think, and may I say, that they are terribly stupid.
Thats exactly what the word "racism" means by definition. However, racism has many forms today, and while someone might say that racism only refers to the racial separation of humans and the hostility and precognition towards different races than one's race, the truth is, that racism has many different forms of it today. (I dont think I need to make list, do I?)
That ridiculously false presumption that humankind is made up of several races of humans, separated mankind, even more than it would have been otherwise, and made us believe that we truly are different from each other, in every way you can imagine.
You can actually see racism everywhere, if you look closely, but I hadnt realised that there are countries that use racism to their advantage (governments I mean), and exploit people is such a disgustingly obvious way.
I mean, WTF, hiring people that are "black" only, or "homosexuals" only, or whatever, is purely 100% a racist act in all its "glory", and I dont care if the reasons behind it are profit, and more power for the people on top (which are indeed usually the reasons behind it)
I've said it before, and I'ma say it again. There are 2 things that really piss me off in life:
1. Racism and,
2. Ignorant people, who have been fully embedded into the system.

1. Never knew that the word racism had an iron definition.
2. Yeah you can see racism everywhere if you look closely enough.
3. Of course there are governments that would use racism to their advantage; after all, Machiavelli thought religion was but a tool for a ruler to employ. Even Hitler recognized the definable power that a racist government could wield (after all, he convinced an entire nation that they as an ethnic group were meant to inherit the Earth and that all other ethnicities would either be exterminated or be slaves).
4. The biggest reason that hiring people for a rascism-esque reason has become rather prominent is because many countries effectively allow themselves to be ruled by special-interest minority groups.
5. Considering the state of society today, I'm highly inclined to start my own civilization. The goal isn't utopia, so much as the acquisition, retention, and understanding of knowledge, and also escape from the absolutely craptacular mess we've made on Earth.

Well a couple of things- yes public school free food generally sucks.
That people kept looking at you funny is strange. Quite frankly it makes me a little ashamed to be an American if that's how Americans treat others.

And well we Caribbean people are admitted the worst, as we see u as tourists, so basically you some forigen and weird.
Well actually it's because my dancing skills are extremely, ah, subpar. To be precise, my dancing looks more like I'm having a siezure (I do a really good impersonation of a person having a siezure though; maybe I'll tape it and post it on YouTube).
