Talk about anything here.
Your first pic kinda failed there. I cant see it because it says "Forbidden".
Nobody cares Snipe, nobody cares
(Yes Alt, I stole your line once more)
"We were inhuman beings....butchers on a field of corpses....corrupt and depraved....only a sum of viscera, blood, and bone - Creatures without soul."
It worked in my earlier post. As you may have guessed, it was the first one, which said "Noxus" on it.
No-one cares, no-one listens, screaming words that you fake hearing
"They're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, and they're behind us. They can't get away this time!"
Oh it was the same pic, I didnt know that. I guess it kinda works then
Is that a song or what?
Good spot. There weren't singing smileys, so they had to whistle instead.
Nice vid.
I've never seen this commercial on TV. Hmm....
its a mash up of two different commercials.
LeBron's What should I do
and Jordan's Legendary
Oh lol, I thought they were both on this commercial
Now that makes more sense.
I'm liking the crazy "cheap distopian action movie" feel to the story of MCR's latest album. Enjoy, part two of the last adventure of the Killjoys coming soon.
I really like My Chemical Romance, and I have their 2 first albums, but this song (along with the video clip) is utter crap
Have it your own way
You know what? I really wish that Fallout 3 would work on my PC... Damn you compatibility problems!
I mean, New Vegas is good on my Xbox, but I really liked the "we're all screwed" atmosphere to Fallout 3, while New Vegas is so much more... regulated. I mean, they have a proper government-like system there in the form of the New California Republic. Sure, there's Caesar's Legion trying to rape and pillage the Mojave Desert, but not while Limey Man's on standby with a rusty bolt-action rifle! Though if the Brotherhood of Steel are anywhere in New Vegas it's gonna be a tough choice between them and the NCR.
Screw it... BoS all the way! Saving the Wasteland through superior firepower! Give a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Discover an intact fusion reactor, and they'll be warm forever!
Nonetheless, I miss Three Dog...
Its my way or the highway!
J/K
So far the pigeons have stolen no more than 2 of my posts. Really nice
FORUMS GO
Ok, I understood like half of what you said Partly because it has been like 76723453 years since I last played Fallout 3, and partly because I havent played any of its DLCs and also havent played New Vegas.
Anyway, what compatibility problems are you having with the PC version of Fallout 3? I might be able to help you.
EVERYTHING!!!
Actually, it's rather simple. Basically, I can't progress more than a few minutes into the game without everything freezing up and CTD-ing. No error message, nothing. Though once I was able to get as far as the GOAT, then it crashed.
First of all, I really hope that you have the original version of the game, because this DOES seem like a common corrupt crack .exe file from a pirate release of the game.
If you do, then.....uhm PM me
Secondly, if your game is original, the first thing you should do is contact support, to find out that they dont give a rat's ass whether your game works or not.
Also, if your game ISNT a pirate version, then this sounds like a common "OMGWTF-my-OS-is-screwed-up" kind of case. In which case I cant really help you, because it could be anything.
Things you can do that might fix this problem:
1. Make sure you have all up-to-date drivers installed for your Motherboard, Gfx card, Sound Card, and if you have an AMD CPU, the necessary drivers/fixes that AMD releases from time to time.
2. Make sure you have the latest DirectX installed to your Windows. If not, you can easily download it from microsoft.com
3. Make sure you have all the necessary Windows updates required for the game to work. Things like, .NetFramework, MS Visual C++, Service Pack 3, are essential for Windows to run certain programs/games. I'm sure you already know that.
4. Lastly, if all else fails, then run a deep-scan virus search with an Anti-Virus that you can trust. It is a possibility that a virus might be interfering with running programs and kill certain processes.
I have 1 more thing in mind, but I need more info/feedback on your issue, in order to help you further.
P.S. As I understand, Fallout 3 doesnt freeze in a very specific part of the game, right? The crashes are random??
Yeah, it's legal GOTY edition. And it's always worked fine before on my last PC.
And seeing as I can't start from a different part of the game than the beginning, I can't really say if it will freeze once I've reached the main world.
Indication that there is something wrong with your current format of your system.
Btw, I have the GOTY version as well Really worth the price.
My question was if the game freezes at a very specific part of the game, (lets say, when you talk to your father, for example), or if the crashes are random. Doesnt matter if it is a new game, or a saved game.
Also, did you check #1, 2, 3 and 4 on my reply #6992??
Give me some more info so I can help you. You arent telling me much, mate.
Done all that. I always keep my PC up to date, and I'm pretty paranoid on the scanning front, using various different ones about two-three times a week.
And yes, the game freezes randomly. It seems to have some difficulty during the fade-out after the character's mom dies, but it'll usually run up to the 10th birthday after that. I've only gotten to the next bit twice without it failing when you fight the radroach or when it does the transition from the photograph. It doesn't just freeze at those particular points though, they're just common ones.
Sorry for the short answers earlier, I hadn't much time.
I cant help you any further than that, I'm afraid.
Maybe if the game has a log, you could establish what is causing that issue, but I wouldnt bet my money on it (IF there is a log somewhere in the game's root folder, that is).
How badly do you wanna play the game? Is formatting and re-installing Windows an option for you? Or is it out of the question?
(I know its a pain in the ass for me, and I always try to avoid formatting my system drive )
When you uninstall/install the game, do you check to see if there are any remaining files/folders in the Program Files directory? If not, you should do that. Sometimes I've had even whole games (all the necessary files) left in there, even though I uninstalled them properly.
Anyway, you could try digging something up by googling it, although I'm fairly sure you've already tried that.
TBH, I'd kind of given up until the radio dude from the MCR album reminded me of Three Dog...
I bet it's just an underlying compatibility issue. I have actually thought of getting it for Christmas on the Xbox, seeing as it's cheap, but hey, I have time before Christmas to decide.
See, one of the advantages of consoles: fewer compatibility problems.
Noxus is one of my favourites though. He's some alien called a Vhozon, who are a reclusive species who hail from the planet of Vho. Noxus is a sort-of-bounty hunter, in that he hunts down criminals and the like (or rather, those he deems criminals) and uses the money earned to cover the costs of his other vigilante excursions. Like most of the other Hunters in the game, he wears a form of powered armour (you can tell from the shape of the chest armour as well, and the lights, because it's pretty clear that nothing is going to have a chest shaped like that), which means he has a form of shielding formed artificially. Make your own choices, but I'm pretty sure that the light scaly parts are his actual body, and the dark purple bits are parts of his suit. His weapon of choice is the Judicator (seen on his right arm), which fires projectiles at near absolute-zero which can, to a limited extent, ricochet off walls with enough velocity to still cause harm. Oh, and he can charge it to freeze people. Being your typical ice-guy he is of course vulnerable to heat.
haha, stolen from the top of the page.
What's your rival code Oatesy?
Meh, I'll find it tomorrow... Too tired right now...
Beware, I haven't played the game in ages, so expect to win. I was never very L337 at it anyway.
I vote that it's time for Limey Man to go to sleep and wake up to snow... hopefully.
No such thing as a compatibility issue. Unless you are running the game on an Intel Integrated graphics accelerator.
....
Wait a sec.....dont tell me that you DO use an On-Board graphics processor??
OK, give me all the hardware specs of your computer please.
LOL, I'm so dumb, I should have asked this question first
Oh well....
That is true. When you buy a console game, it is guaranteed to run properly without any significant issues.
However, I cant stand the low FPS count on the PS3. It feels as if its hardware is struggling to run certain games, so the developers have to reduce Frames per sec, so the game can run properly, and avoid any visible stuttering. (not gonna mention which games are these, for obvious reasons)
XBOX360 has the best performance/quality ratio I've seen in a console so far.
P.S. Reply #7000, yay!
