Talk about anything here.
Oh right, I just checked it. He had 5 karma, and now that I gave him +1, has 6.
"Mr Anderson, welcome back....we missed you...."
Technically, I have 44 karma, but it only shows 40 for me, so the Karma systems always screwed up in a way.
Xer0 \^/
The funny stuff with that is, for me, I still see "0" for him....
Hit the Karma button, and it SHOULD show you his legit amount of karma...
The only reason Karma glitches is because karma from other forums (SoaSE to Demigod, Etc) doesn't show immediatly, someone from your forum has to give him karma for all of his to be shown.
In the meantime, give me karma if you think that this game looks like epix win.
All I saw was a blank white space. So no. Racist.
Fixed it, sorry.
More proof, if you don't already agree.
Yeah, I know Xer07. However, I can see all of my 47 karma. I see that you have 37, which is.....just weird, considering that you see 40 out of 44......ok thats confusing
I have World in Conflict, and it didnt really excite me as much I thought it would when I purchased it.
IMO, SupCom>>>>WiC.
...
do you play multiplayer?
Oh, and as for you, I see 26.
This one is my personal fave.
pwnd.
I didnt try multiplayer, I wanted to finish the campaign first, to learn playing the game, and get a good feel at it. However, I got bored at the last few missions, and I only finished the campaign, out of formality, so to speak (I paid for it after all).
Since I got bored, and didnt like it enough to want play multi, I just uninstalled it and....thats it.
I have enough strategy and shooter games as is :/
And yet World in Conflict WILL NEVER match ANY Dawn of War title. Because nothing beats a Dreadnought crushing some Orks.
EDIT: except for a Wraithlord crushing a Dreadnought.
I go to CCF too often. When I watched the first vid, when it got to the soldiers advancing through the Burger King car park, the first two things that popped into my head were: a) there should have been guys in cover suppressing the enemy while the others advanced, and they were standing too close to the tank. Think about it, the tank will be the focus of enemy explosive ordinance, and infantry won't do well when there's missiles (do the Russians use RPGs in it? Or do they use something more advanced?) hitting right next to them.
So that's my tactical rant. Of course, Americans may have different tactics to us Limeys, but I'm pretty sure that the concept of "some suppress, some advance" is used pretty much unicersally by all armies. Then there is of course the fact that it's just a game, so I can excuse it.
Yes it is just a game, I dont think they gave too much thought on a video like the one you're describing.
However, if the soldiers were walking beside the tank, they were using it as cover, to protect themselves from enemy fire, maybe. Think about it, when the enemy just doesnt have anything against tanks (if thats the case), and they're just trying to take out the infantry before they retreat, then the tank would provide great cover against them. But I dont really remember that vid you're describing (its been almost 3 years since I played WiC, cant remember everything), so.....yeah
They weren't using the tank very effectively for cover, seeing as one of them managed to get shot while standing behind the tank. (they probably got flanked and therefore owned)
Speaking of tanks:
Challenger 2 FTW
beautaful
I see you've found a good band...I posted a vid or 2 a few pages back (its been awhile...so it may be more than a few)
*Steps out of observerroom*
