Its not just thinking. Its the "too much thinking", combined with "too strong emotions". Thats always a bad combo.

Dont you ever feel like you get swarmed by these really strong feelings, be it either love, or hatred, or depression, or whatever else?
I assume that it gets to a point where your feelings literally control you, making you almost incapable of thinking rationally, negating everything real. Just reduce this to a moderate level, and this really simplistic advice, is really the best I can give you. You will realize it by yourself 1 day, and it will happen on its own.
