I bought the Majesty bundle in special this week-end from Stardock and Being tired of playing MOM I was surprise by the game. I had never played it before of course.
It's quite entertaining at least at the start. I loike the idea of a semi independant Hero system. It's fun.
The problem is a lack of sandbox/skirmish mode.
I read yesterday in the Paradox forum that a map editor will be released prior to the release of the expansion pack.
If they release this and give a skirmish mode I would buy a Majesty Gold version in the future. I wish..
I was a fan of the first Majesty and the second one was good too, but I wish the campaign was longer. It isn't long before you complete the game and I don't think it was worth my 50$ (I bought it the day it came out). That deal was worth it though. I hope many people took the opportunity to be able to play a truly unique game for that low a price.
I was not aware that there was no skirmish mode. To bad really because a sand box mode would of been quite cool.
Oh well 10$ is not so bad.
The original majesty had a skirmish/sandbox mode and I remember there being a ridiculous amount of settings...
And an ability to beat a map competively without actually warring with other players which was a lot of fun.
