Think of this thread as something similar to conceptships.blogspot.com for the Sins community. Basically, a way for the community to share what they have created whether it makes it into a mod or not.
At a minimum post a screen shot of your model in blender, xsi, 3d object converter, etc or in game. If you have a name for your ship or story behind it, even better.
We are looking forward to seeing what you have created!

From the beginning of this thread IskatuMesk has wow'd us with his models and ultimately released a video of his creations in Sins of a Solar Empire. This particular model was my favorite in the beginning and still stands out.
SivCorp looking to stretch new ideas from existing models managed to create several menancing models including the fantastic Vasari version seen here: (Vasari Flagship Sonar Kal'd used in the Distant Stars Mod)

@ZombiesRUs: SuperZer0 was doing some work with the DS team on incorporating his mod into ours. I believe it's still on for the next patch. If your modifications reduce the burden on the comp, maybe you should talk with Nacey (or Ryat or Carbon) and SuperZer0 to see if they want to insert your optimized models into the incorporated mod.

Interesting... Based on SuperZERO's last post in AHA he indicated the beta was pretty much on indefinate hold for now. I contacted him about his last 3 models and he left public permission to use all or part of his mod. If it's still alive for DS I can supply the optimized textures if wanted.
Weapon damage per bank causes a ship to turn or face the target. The highest bank causes the turn as previously stated. Now considering you have already checked this. Are you weapon points setup correctly for each bank? Do you have the targets per bank set correctly. Really the best way to get help is to post your mesh and entity file versus us guessing what may be wrong.
Get dropbox, it's great for quick sharing of files. There's a plugin that sets up a directory on your hardrive for easy sharing.

@Zombie: Like I said, you'll probably want to get in touch with Carbon, Ryat, or Nacey. They're team leaders. I don't know the current standing of the incorporation, but I figure that since we've optimized the shipyards and cargo ships, it would only make sense to do so for anything we add.
If he wants to continue on in the incorporation of Hidden Alliance with DS and introduce better built models then I say have at it. Would be nice to mess around with that mod again.

At this time I don't plan to be making any public releases (all of my projects went private 2 years ago). It's likely I'll hit sins' limits before it's fully playable, anyways.
Keeping this thing under 25k quads is going to be extremely challenging.
