Found two (maybe three) so far, and they are pretty bad bugs too.
1. Occulus level 15 chain lightning perk doesn't work. It's supposed to stop opponent regen for both mana and health, yet they are clearly able to regen just fine. Until this is fixed, it's only a wasted point.
2. When those little lightning balls are summoned, if you have all the minions selected along with Occulus, he inexplicably slows down to a crawl, regardless of his move speed. This is VERY bad if you are trying to get away.
(Possibly 3). The minion enhancement skill that is supposed to allow them a chance to do extra lightning damage doesn't seem to work at all, not that I can tell anyway. It would be nice if there was a way to tell that it activated, like little blue damage numbers or something. So far, it seems to be broken as well.
When you target Oc to AA with your demigod and he does blast off your Demigod looses the target and stands around dumbly.
isn't that a good thing?
Occulus's AIBlueprint.lua is a copy and paste from Lord Erebus. It stops the AI from working properly as this character.
On that note: Demon Assassin's AIBlueprint.lua is a copy and paste from Regulus's....
Ty.
I had one problem last game besides the thing middle of the game I seemed to lose control of OC, and at one point no of the commands to acticate an item or skill worked. I had to press the buttons 2 -3 times. LAstly my blast off (Seriously change the name) back fired and didn't do anything.
the mana restore talent, whatever it's called doesn't remove any debuffs as it says it should.
also if you summon the 4 balls next to a hole in the map, like the ones in the middle of cataract one of them can summon in the void and be unusable since it's 'flying'
Oak's shield not showed when casted on Occ.
These bugs are pretty bad imo. Can more people confirm these?
I will play some SinglePlayer with Occ to check them out.
1) Lightning ball attack animation sometimes breaks, so there is a perpetual bolt of lightning inbetween the target and the ball lightning.
2) Sometimes when Occ is heavily damaged he gets stuck in a loop of his "pain" effect, where he holds his hand over his head and grunts every second. This is extremely annoying.
3) I've noticed that the minotaur idols button often breaks on Occ, so I need to use the quick cast key to re-summon.
Normally, the "King of the Minotaurs" skill, which gives you bonuses with each idol you have summoned, is supposed to go away, when the priests, archers or minotaurs die.
But sometimes it gets bugged, and the buff stays with you even if you dont have an active summoned idol, required for the particular buff.
For example, each monk will give you additional HP, both monks die, and you still have the buffed HP effect. This happens quite rarely though.
Quite buggy indeed lol. But I don't care, the real thing is that he needs to be balanced. Is he? To me it seems the only skill thats awesome is blast off, and the rest of the skills are thing you can also get if you want.
My question is does summoning new Balls (lol) cause the old balls (lol) to explode (lol) with explosive end?
If so, he scares me at lvl 15.
Oh yes my friend, beware the balls (lol) of a level 15 Occulus.
Sometimes he gets stuck after blasting off, just like DA gets stuck after warp. You click to move away but he just sits there unresponsive for 4-5 seconds and enemies wonder why you haven't finished them
Another two bugs;
1. Apparently, brainstorm lvl 15 is broken too. It's supposed to give a cool down reduction, but I have tested it over and over again and there was ZERO reduction in cool down time. Great, this means that "ALL" of Occulus' level 15 skills are broken...EVERY...SINGLE...ONE.
2. Brainstorm sometimes "missfires" and actually drains mana from your pool instead of replenishing it. This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough for me to have noticed it. Using this skill on myself should ALWAYS give me a boost in mana replenishment, not drain a mana pool and give nothing back.
So to recap; He currently has no level 15 super skills, his brainstorm occasionally reduces his mana instead of replenishing it, and there is no way to know if the minion lightning buff skill even works.
Did they even test Occ? He's by far the buggiest Demigod ever at release.
It took all of 60 seconds to load a sp game at level 15 and fire 2 abiltities before and after taking 3rd tier branstorm. It definiately works. Maybe you weren't casting it on yourself?
I've never seen it drain mana from my pool either after dozens of games with him. Maybe a monk died at the same time that you cast it?
He is ridiclously buggy but he's still really good. I wonder if he will ever be fixed though...
The lvl 15 skills proc and they "look" like they should be working, but if you check the numbers and watch the skills, you can clearly see they aren't working.
The electrocution is supposed to stop ALL regen for 10 seconds per zap, but the demigod target clearly is regening his hp when I hover the mouse icon over his health bar.
The lvl 15 brainstorm also procs, but there is no cooldown bonus at all. It says there is, but for a 7 second skill 20% of which is -1.4 seconds, but the cooldown remains at 7 seconds. I've tried using brainstorm both before and after I use another skill, and it makes no difference. It is definitely broken.
I know electrocution doesn't work. Brain storm does.
Before taking it the first number that should show on bloast off was a 9 after I used it. After taking it and using it on myself the first number that shows on blast off is a 7. lightning which was a 6 was a 5 with the buff active.
Also, lightning balls do not explode when upgraded.
Brain storm causes a net loss in mana if you use it with full mana. The reason is because the ability has its effect (add mana) before it costs mana.
This isn't a bug.
No that isn't a bug, but causing a loss when you only have partial mana is a bug. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen.
I noticed for the first time today that the mana restore talent cost me mana to cast. I had around 2700/3400 mana, after casting it I had around 2500/3400. I may have had magus rod activated and I had the minion talent with 2 priests out so my pre-priest mana cap was probably around 2900 or something. I'm guessing that it restores your mana to your pre-minion talent max, then it spends the mana to cast the spell.
Would need to verify.
