First question: In the final mod, have we only two cap. ships, the supercarrier of the UNSC, and the Assault Carrier of the Covenant?
Final mod is not for soon... and it remain a lot of model to make... phoenix class and covenant supercarrier ( not the scaled 5 time assault carrier from Halo reach but the real covenant supercarrier ) will be the next...
For the phoenix, he is in texturing stage now... take a long time become a lot of 3D detail are added via Xach-effect, a lot more effective that with bump map or nm map in sins...
One "wings" is only 4 triangle... basic plating use bump map and the details with high relief ( 3d effect ) use a Xach-effect
Second question: Have the UNSC ships only two type of weapons? (MAC and Archer missiles)
Nope... take a look at a old screenshot for the phoenix just below...
You can see ATAF missile turret and deck gun... since i have made the UNSC supercarrier, these have the shiva nuclear missile... having work on the frigate too, these have the 50mm flak gun too...
Pretty sure that when our list of model will expand, we will have the Morey space mine... normally, UNSC carrier have two
fusion rocket... slow and non effective against covenant ship but work good against orbital structure... there is the more big UNSC weapons, called Nova bomb... don't think that it is already implemented on any ship from the mod but it is a very interesting bomb :
"The only documented triggering of a NOVA Bomb...The resulting explosion occurred between a Covenant outpost planet Joyous Exultation and its moon, Malhiem, scorching half of the planet and shattering the moon. The resulting winds on Joyous Exultation flattened cities and spawned tidal waves. Radiation flooded the planet and killed everything living on it, penetrating the surface of the planet to its core. Every ship within the NOVA Bomb's range, save for those on the opposite side of the planet, boiled and vaporized in an instant. In fact, UNSC ship can have plenty of various weapons, several of them not being good documented and having mainly reference only in the Halo novel...
Sorry if I sound like a person who thinks he knows it all. But if i remember correctly the US Navy which is what the UNSC is based off of calls ships a she, I came to figure this because in the Halo book series all the ships when they are referred to without a name are called She as well as in the games EX. When your fighting to get off of the pillar of Autumn in Halo 1. Or when you meet up with commander keyes to give him cortana in Halo:Reach commander keyes says for you to protect her he is referring to both the Pelican that he and Cortana are in and the Pillar of Autumn. This is a tradition started by early sailors all around the globe(Earth this time). Please dont take this the wrong way Thoumsin this is not at all meant to criticisize you. You as person have your choice as to whether to call the ships a she or a he. If you already know this all and just chose not to call it a she or you just prefer calling it a he then that's cool same if you just missed the "s" because you were typing too fast either way its cool I personally don't care I have no intention of becoming a sailor or a captain of ship or a navy official or any of the above.
Please don't take this wrong I was simply stating things that I have personally noticed and read I may be quite wrong on this and if I am I apologize

Anyways, the Phoenix ended up being excellently textured by Fileosoft (Thoumsin on here) and is currently ingame.
I'll come back and post some eye candy when I get a free moment.

Anyways, the Phoenix class comes in two forms:
1) The lightly armed and armored Civilian vessel that is cannibalized after colonizing a planet to make a colonies infastructure.
2) The Heavily armed semi-warship that carries thousands of troops and armored vehicles, making it used often for planetary invasions.

I'm a hardcore halo fun and I just have some questions.
First of all what are the fighters that will be in the mod?
I mean you have the Falcon (Not Reach's Falcon but A halo wars deleted material), the GA-TL1 Longsword-class Interceptor, F99 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle, Open Frame 92/Extra-Vehicular Activity (booster Frame), and the AC-220 Gunship (Vulture), YSS-1000 (Sabre)I have no question about the bombers since there is only one. Well I guess the Pelican can count as a bomber.
Secondly, there are two variations of the destroyer:

My main concern is the Halcyon class cruisers.
First of all it is slightly smaller than a Marathon Cruiser, but its larger than a frigate. And its Armaments.
Before Refits: One MAC Cannon. Six Archer Missile Pods which were far below standards at the time. Each pod would have contained several individual missiles. Four Shiva Nuclear Warheads. Numerous 50mm point defense guns.
After Refits: One upgraded MAC Cannon capable of firing 3 rounds in quick succession. 300 Archer Missile Pods which were arranged in thirty columns and ten rows. Each pod contained 26 individual devices, equaling 7800 missiles. Four Shiva Nuclear Warheads. One of these missiles was disguised as a Longsword fighter, which could be remote controlled. Forty 50mm MLA Auto-cannons with overlapping fields of fire for point defense against single ships.
Just a few things I wanted to check.

juggernat plz remember this is still a WIP so it is not finalized yet and balanced as the SOTP team i believe is trying to fill out all the ship roles first then ADD the "icing on the cake" but plz wait but to answer your question yes there will be a refit option i think for the halcyon idk it was discussed.
