Its us again! Here to bring you yet another exciting community topic!!!!
This topic is dedicated to any stories, lore, epic poems, novels, Role Playing...anything your heart desires to share!!!
We are always up for a good read and are excited to see what you all create from DS.
We will be featuring hopefully some neat post in this orginal post every so often. Maybe be something we liked or we though it need attention! So, aim your Ogrov at that writers block and get your fingers typing!
There aren't any rules, but we do have some guidelines to follow so that we all can participate and enjoy ourselves.-There is really no limit on what you post just as long as it is Distant Stars related.-Most members are participating in a single large story with the occasional side story or two. While this thread is certainly not limited to just that story, for the benefit of all readers and participants, please begin your post with how we're supposed to handle it. (Personal Story) (DS RP) (Trader Space) Examples of this can be found all throughout the thread or by looking at this post. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/372058/page/21/#2596003 This will help us all out by letting us know if you're trying to set yourself up to join the main lore, if you plan on just telling your own story, or if you're just writing lullabies for children to sing before they go to bed.-While we don't expect you to 'Play the game' in your stories, we do ask that you keep any liberties that you take be grounded within the game. For example: Talking about your space marines invading another ship is not something the game covers, so feel free to be inventive on how it would happen. However, carrying point singularity rifles that open up little black holes is beyond the scope of the game and will not be allowed. Soldiers with phasic armor that prevents them from being wounded let alone even being hit, while being relevant to the technology in the game would also not be allowed. The point is to be fair to the other people. We encourage you to ask yourselves, would this work in the game, and how would I feel if someone used this on me? If You feel strongly that it would work and you'd be okay with it being used against you, then by all means, use it. Fantasy posting, dream sequences, and April Fool's postings are of course, immune from this guideline.-We highly encourage you to message other members for help or advice. There is a TeamSpeak channel that is frequently used by the regulars to talk issues out or just shoot the breeze behind the scenes. Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of these resources. Also, 'regulars' may send you messages with suggestions, concerns, or advice. It's nothing personal, so please do not be offended, they're just trying to help keep the lore consistent within these guidelines. If there's any doubt at all about anything, just message one of the people who you see posting a lot. If they don't know, they'll pass your message along to someone who does or tell you who you need to talk to.-It is also highly recommended that you message other RPers before posting anything involving their stuff. If you don't, you're likely going to find all of DS rising up against you.-In an effort to reduce clutter, we're asking that Out Of Character (OOC) commenting be either sent to the individual for whom it is intended by using the private message feature, or take it to another thread. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/366762 is a thread frequented by many of the lore writers and random comment posting about anything under the sun is highly encouraged there as well in an attempt to get the thread locked. Enjoy.

Some resources that we have spent hours, days, and weeks working on that will help out all participants in this thread. We ask that you look through these to help you better understand the region.-About Distant Stars- https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/372058/page/11/#2532381This post will give you a lot of basic information on what the region of space is like, how to get there, and who is there waiting for you.-Distant Stars Maps- https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/372058/page/23/#2604760This post provides you with a quick look at the region and provides you with a download link where you can get yourself a copy of the posted maps in their unreduced forms. They're very helpful when trying to figure out where to go and who you're likely going to run into when you get there. Maps of individual systems are posted throughout the thread. They're generally posted by the first person to explore the system. If you don't know if a system has been explored or not or want to see a map of a system that has been explored, ask around via PM or TeamSpeak. Someone will point you to the place.-Character Biographies- https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/372058/page/11/#2532380This post is a general collection of the main RP characters whom you will likely have contact with. We ask that all people posting in the main lore post their main character(s) bio as soon as possible so that the rest of us have a little background on who your character is, how they like to fight, where do they come from, and why they're there. Read the existing bios for examples on what we're looking for.

The David's Lions I guess would have their two systems somewhere in Trader Space. They're a large Jewish society I usually signify in my games with a yellow star of david. They have no territory in the Distant Stars and are not too interested in spreading out, seeing that their population doesn't demand it and they are not big on taking new planets only to try and incorporate outsider populations.
Although many attempt to avoid being hoity toity about this limited isolationism, it can't help but produce a degree of stand-offishness.
They will gladly kill Vasari, but hesitate to do more than defend against the Advent. Although they have an independent fleet, the DL will take orders (within reason) from the highest organizers of the TEC.
I see. I've added David's Lions as a subfaction of the TEC in the Distant Stars. They autonomously control the planet of New Jerusalem, far from the front lines.
Scralling through 8 pages is taking a VERY long time. I'm nearly at the end of page 3.
https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/372058/page/4/#2508882
It looks like the map has already been drawn out. Mine has a different layout and is more precise. We'll have to pick between this one and mine when I post my map.
Yeah, sure, I'm building the map as close as possible to the RPG logs of the last 8 pages. I'm nearly finished.
(NO LONGER NEEDED, SEE EDIT FOR OP)
Thenos sat back in the passenger compartment of the shuttle that had collected him from the Revenge. He was being taken to the RFT Assailant, which would then take him to the second moon of Finley IV. With him was one of the hunchbacked combat drones that were used in the rare instances that ship board combat was necessary. At the moment it was crouched on the floor, too bulky to fit on a seat, and too tall to stand up in the shuttle. Thenos had seen the look of worry on the pilot’s face when he had seen the drone get on board. It was probably the heavy weapons mounted on the drone’s arms and shoulders that made the pilot uneasy, but the drone was a combat unit. It wasn’t around to make people feel good.
As Thenos and the drone were escorted to the bridge of the RFT Assailant, the rumble underfoot made it clear that the ship was already moving. As they walked, the combat drone’s head swivelled left and right, checking for threats. Thenos didn’t expect to be harmed, but it was always best to play it safe. Arriving at the entrance to the bridge, an officer turned to Thenos.
“Could you leave your… guard here please?”
“Sure,” Thenos replied, gesturing to the drone. It hung its head as it went into standby mode. Thenos was then allowed onto the bridge, and was led to a man that he assumed was the captain.
“Ah,” the man noticed him, “the visitor. Fleet Admiral Timothy Hodgkins.”
Thenos shook the man’s hand and introduced himself, “Knight-Reaver Thenos Garr. I’m probably technically an admiral with your ranks now, but I don’t have much of a fleet.”
“Well, I understand that we’re going to help you with that problem.”
“Indeed. I will be heading home with a far lighter wallet, I assume.”
The admiral laughed. Hopefully the laughter hadn’t been forced, as Thenos wanted to get on friendly terms with these people. After all, he needed a good deal, because he didn’t have many credits to spend. Taxing was yet to begin on Rebirth, as there was a low population, with everyone working to survive, not for profit. The equivalent of tax was work. The builders earned their place in the community by setting up houses, the farmers through providing food. Everybody had their place. However, this wouldn’t last for long. Soon people would start wanting more, or get lazy. The society on the planet had to be returned to a normal set up, which would require advanced desert colony gear. Hopefully the Roesh Free Traders could help with this.
The trip wasn’t a long one, and soon enough, Thenos was once more stepping off a shuttle, this time into a trade port over the savannah moon of Finley IV. The admiral had come with him in the shuttle, and now led the way for Thenos and the drone. The admiral led him through a series of corridors, and into a lift, that headed upwards.
“Is business a bit slow at the moment?” asked Thenos, commenting on how few people he had seen in the trade port.
“This trade port’s actually just been finished. If you hadn’t been around, it probably wouldn’t have been completed quite as fast.”
The lift reached the top floor, at the peak of the central spire of the trade port. Stepping through a small crossroads, with escape pods off to the left and right, Thenos and the admiral came to a grand set of doors. As they slid open, Thenos saw a lavishly decorated conference room. Inside, four people were discussing something. However, hearing the door they turned to look at the new arrivals.
“Tim, there you are,” said one, and then turned to greet Thenos, “I’m Roesh. It looks like you’re my first bit of big business here!”
“I’m Thenos, pleasure to meet you.”
They shook hands, and Thenos was introduced to the other three people in the room. There was Henry Stolvey, who looked to be in his fifties, like Roesh. Then there was Todd Degroff, who Thenos noticed kept watching the drone. Finally, there came Casey Tahira, the one that Thenos had sensed in his meditations. As they exchanged greetings, Thenos sent her a psychic message.
What’s an Advent like you doing alone out here? he asked. The only reply he got was a sudden feeling of annoyance from her. Did she dislike being treated differently to the others? Perhaps she didn't like having psychic gifts.
The four he had greeted, and the admiral, took seats on one side of the table, leaving Thenos all alone on his side of the table. An incredibly obvious psychological tactic that would work on the nervous, but not on him. There was a soft noise behind him as his drone took up a position just behind his shoulder.
“Well,” began Roesh, “I believe we all know the reason that we’re here, so let’s get on with it.”
From the centre of the table rose a hologram.
“This,” explained Henry, who had brought up the hologram by remote, “is your very own holographic shopping list. On it is everything that we are offering. Over to you Casey.”
“There are blueprints for all Advent cruisers and frigates at the top. Further down, there is advanced desert survival equipment, plans for modular architecture, and colonising gear for hostile and tropic environments, that you should be able to replicate and use.”
Henry fiddled with the remote, and a new figure popped up at the bottom of the list. It was the grand total. 7600 credits, 900 units of metal and 1475 units of crystal. The crystal and metal requirements would be no problem, but Thenos had been given a limited budget of 2500 credits, and most of this stuff was vital. He would probably never get a better offer, and it was only a matter of time before advanced combat vessels were needed.
“I already have the design data for Drone Hosts, and I’m not interested in Purge vessels,” Thenos said. Henry altered the price, but it was still way to steep. How could he possibly get it down to 2500 credits? As he thought this, Thenos felt something brush against his mind. He glanced at Casey. She had an innocent smile on her face, but probably found this hilarious, knowing that Thenos would walk out empty handed and humiliated, but if she was going to do these negotiations Advent style, so was he. Until now, he had kept his mind to himself out of respect for his business partners, but now he subtly listened in on Casey’s thoughts. To the others, it would look like he was thinking about the deal, but he was sifting through every one of her passing thoughts, until he found a key word: Contract.
“This looks a little steep for my current budget,” Thenos began, “so I’m wondering if we could set up a sort of contract, so that I can pay you back over time.”
Casey’s smile vanished, and she shot him a glare. Her mind radiated embarrassment about how easy reading it had been. No love lost there, then.
Roesh turned from talking to Henry and said, “Yes, that sounds reasonable. I think that you could start with a payment of forty percent of the total price. You could then pay us back over time. Interest would be added, of course.”
“Naturally. So what would be the starting payment?”
“2640 credits, 340 units of metal, and 540 units of crystal, if you still don’t want the Drone Host or siege frigate,” informed Henry. Still too many credits.
“How about 2500 creds,” Thenos offered, remembering how Todd had looked at the drone, “and I throw in this drone as well.”
Todd leaned over to talk with Roesh. Thenos had pulled the right strings.
“How does it work?” inquired Todd. Seeing Henry roll his eyes, he added, “so that we know what we’re doing with it, I mean.”
“It can either be operated by an anima,” Thenos told him, “or off its AI, which can figure out allies, enemies, and responds instantly to gestures by confirmed owners. If you wipe its memory, you can reprogram it to recognise you as its owner. I can ask a technician to come and help you out at some point if you want.”
Todd started talking with Roesh again, so Thenos decided to make one last point, “and they can easily take down a –UE_ exosuit in combat.”
Todd and Roesh seemed to reach a decision, as Roesh turned back and said, “Todd says that it’s worth 140 creds just for the hardware inside that thing, so I’ll go with your offer, but turn that thing off before we make the deal. I don’t want it shooting my technicians while they take it away.”
Thenos stood and powered down the drone. As he took his seat, Roesh began talking about the final conditions of the deal.
“We will send you plans for a trade centre via our broadcast centre. Once you’ve completed your trade port, you will dispatch a convoy containing your first payment. Once we have confirmation that it’s on the way, we will transmit the plans for your ships to your Temple of Communion, and send our own ship with the colonising gear, desert kit and some modular architecture. We will agree on a rate of repayment here and send it to you. Don’t worry; we won’t make it too steep, because bankrupting you isn’t profitable. Anyway, do we have a deal?” asked Roesh, standing and extending his hand. Thenos stood and shook it.
“We have a deal.”
This map shows all planets introduced by the RPG. There will of couse be other planets.
My Little Empire
We should make a list of who's who in this
Im also adding a new character.
Grand Admiral Brelsa-The Commander of all TEC operations in this sector. Whereabouts-Unknown. Identity-Unknown. Known Information: Decorated Veteran. Missing in Action for the Past 10 years.
Basically, this guy would be in charge of all of us but he's missing which leaves us to our own devices. I just think it adds a sense of realism to the story. In a way that he was responsible for securing help from the main TEC but disappeared before he could get word of our existence out.
What do you guys think?
Nice maps, both of you. I'm gonna need to think of a system name so that my bit's included...

"One man could liberate the Distant Stars from pirates and alien invaders. That man was missing."
I think it's very good. Did you remember to assassinate the Lord Terrax?
The group entered Xenon's quarters. Xenon sat behind his desk, looking over some files, something he did to past time while he waited for group to come meet him. They all walked in and moved to sit at the small couch off to the side without saying a word to Xenon. Xenon having taken notice of them, stood and dragged his chair over to where they where sitting. Xenon sat in his chair, speaking first to all of them,
" Nice to see everyone, Carbon, Mercury, Titanium, and Iodine. Im sure you all know a little on the present situation with in and our of the corparation. But to just make sure everyone is on the same page lets go over it all. Firstly, we have White Impules, it is secure. The Board members appear to be trying to recover from this loss. They are also trying to regain control after the assination of some of the board members by a Advent terrorist group, Unitiy's Hand, at least thats what they call themsevels. This group has hit several key locations withing United Explorer space. This was the original reason why White Impulse had to be moved and quickly. This explains the reason why i took it without offical consent. This also explaines why they sent Iron to come take it back. In order to keep control of White Impulse, and make sure that the terrorist did not have another opertunity to destory it, we sent to it the David's Lions. They, along with Lord Ryat, which most of you know of, and one of his Visari allies, formed a defensive front that was able to repel Iron. This also set forward the events that has now split the United Explorers. The remaining board members have decided to try and make the move back to TEC space. Now all of you know that the corparation make the move to this Distant Stars system, moving all of their assests and liquidating all property in TEC space. This made the Trade Order quite angry, but we didnt care at the time as we where moving out from under thier control. As -Ue_ leaves this area, there will be a very large power vacuume, since -Ue_ is the largest govermental body it will be as though the animal now has no head. Im expecting Distant Stars space to become very lawless. This will mean that protecting our few remaing assets will become vital to our survival. From now on there is no back up, no help comming from home. We have gone back to our roots, we will explore and push humanity to the edges of space, starting back at square one. Our home is now the stars which we explore..."
There was a brief pause with the group as Xenon finished his sentence. Mercury was the first to speak up.
" Ov course vwe must gathver all our allies vwith us first, no? Zhen vwe can move as group anz make a plaze of home!" Mercury finished raising his fist into the air
" Yes, why we here, when we should be moving to keep our planets, that we need?" Iodine spoke up after Mercury, her voice raising a bit also
" Look whatever happens, we can take them. We have five divisions together, thats more than enough to take anything out there" Titanium said with a bit of arogance.
Carbon who had been quite up till now decied to speak up.
" Titanium, be quite or your going to fill the others with ideas. We are here for a reason, i called you here as your High Paragon. Now i know it would make sence to go out and grab up as much as we can, but we have more pressing issues right now."
" Anz vwhat are Zhe izzuez? Zomthing more important Zhen our vwellbeing?" Mercury asked Carbon
Carbon gives Xenon a look, and Xenon hands each a rather thick file. Each taking it Xenon says to the group
" Go back to your flag ship now, read this, study this. When you have it memorized then report back to Carbon for further instuction" Xenon said without changing tone
The three Paragons stood and left the room, heading for the hanger.
Carbon also stood, but didnt leave, he walked around the room comming to the closet that usually stay closed. It was still open from where Xenon had unlocked i earlier and had not closed it back. After Carbon had looked at the contents for some time he turned to Xenon
" Been quite some time since i've seen that stuff. I didn't know you kept it with you"
Xenon moved to close the closet, " It's apart of me just as much as this metal mask. Just the half i like to keep locked away."
" Somthing is bothering you. You may be able to fool the others with that metal mask, but i can see right though it" Carbon said moving away from the closet
" I've just been thinking a lot on the Advent lately, and what ..... happened the last time we had a face to face encounter." Xenon said pulling his chair back to its position behind his desk.
"I see" Carbon responed, " You know you shouldnt dwell on the past, it will only drive you crazy."
" I thought i was over it, but something has just come over me here lately." Xenon said not looking at Carbon, " I just cant forget the feeling, the feeling that.... nevermind, its nothing."
" If you say so, but i dont need you going crazy on me. We got a lot of work ahead of us" Carbon told Xenon
" Yes im well aware of it" Xenon replied, back in his monotone voice.
" Do we know who all is still with us, besides the ones that are present" Carbon asked looking out the windows in the back of the room
" We know that Gold is for sure, but he is currently holding key planets, so i told him to sit tight" Xenon said moving over the stand next to Carbon by the windows
" How did you get windows like this?" Carbon asked, " I always asked but they never gave them to me"
" Probably because your ship was in the repaire platform every other week" Xenon said with out hesitation
" Well that ship has served me well, so why should i get rid of it" Carbon shot back
" Just letting you know why they never gave you glass" Xenon said turning toward Carbon
" Well thats a lousy reason..." Carbon said as he muttered some things under his breath
" Good point, but you know thats not how it works" Xenon told Carbon
" Yea...., so whats our next move" Carbon asked the metal man
" Don't know, this is Ryat's op, im just going off what i get from him and the little ive gotten from my sources. This wont be an easy fight. Im not sure if the reports im getting are right yet, but we may be looking at thousands of ships" Xenon told his friend
" Well im sure they are exaderated a bit. I guess i will need to talk to Ryat and see what exactly we are going to be needing to do, i just saw him too" Carbon said with a slight laugh.
" You know with all the work we have done with Ryat, he is still quite mysterious. I was just looking though his personal file when you walked in. There is a lot missing. Like where he came from, how he got his seat, who that lady is that walks around with him, i mean thats a lot for someone we are about to get in a gun fight with." Xenon told Carbon as he moved to grab the file, " Take this, and tell me its like a giant black hole. The only other person who might have something looking like this is me, and it took me a lot of black marker to do that"
Carbon took the file, not giving a glance," Ok, well im sure he is alright, he hasn't given us reason yet not to trust him, and you know that you are paranoid about people"
" Yea well that lady that was with him is new, and you know how i am about new people" Xenon said turing back to the window
" Well i need to be going, ill talk to you later" Carbon said as he exited the room
" Yea " Xenon said, as his mind turned toward the Advent again, damn advent....
Lord J'rah looked over the report on the White Impulse. The week had passed with much information about it. Needless to say it was interesting. What it was do attached to a Kostura Cannon was still being worked through but the nanites that were there were of interest. Each Vasari clan had its own signature on its nanites. And the signature was very revealing. The Monta clan was involved. They were a powerhouse amoungst the Vasari clans and their encroachment upon the TEC was the deepest. So to see that they were in league with ones inside a well known company of the TEC, the -Ue_, was disconcerting. J'rah sighed and put the report down and considered all that meant. Lord Anro stepped in to his office disturbing his thoughts. "I'm sorry My Lord," Anro said, "but I have a report on the phase gate." "Excellent, come on in," J'rah said with a beckoning gesture. Anro walked in and placed the report on J'rah's desk and remained standing. J'rah picked up the report and began skimming over it. "So I see that fixing the phase gate will be relatively easy," Lord J'rah said. "Yes," confirmed Anro, "though it will take time. Did you notice the Vasari clan that built it?" "The Kris Slavers, yes I did notice that," J'rah said. "Considering our enmity with them we should have no problems getting the Counsel to attack them." "But what of their strength," Anro said. "We were badly hurt in the latest battle. And even though we have much that has been rebuilt, we are no where near ready to deal with the Krises." "Why do you think I agreed to work with Ryat and his friends on this," J'rah said. "For our help, we get that to take over that system and all the riches that are there." "Are you sure this Ryat human will allow it?" Anro asked. "Already cleared it with him," J'rah said. "He likes the idea of strengthing us. Admittedly its to his ends, but also ours as well." "Still not sure why," Anro grumped, "though I will follow your lead My Lord." "I will tell you why," J'rah said. "To put it simply we are going to need the humans. Both TEC and the Advent." Anro looked puzzled. "What are we running from?" J'rah asked. "That is unknown at this time my lord," Anro said. "And how long can we keep running?" Anro was silent. "When we first attacked the TEC," J'rah began, "we had assumed that they were a small group of barbarians with poor technology. Easy to take over and allow us to rebuild. We were wrong. And we are now faced with a war that will at best be an epic struggle that will cost us much in resources and time. And time we cannot afford to lose. Even if we managed to defeat the TEC in time. What if the next race we meet is even stronger, and takes longer?" "That would be disastrous," Anro said quietly. J'rah nodded. "At some point we need to face what is chasing us," J'rah said, "And we are going to need the help of the TEC and Advent to stop whatever is coming at us." "Not all the Vasari will agree with you," Anro said, "And I'm pretty sure that some in the TEC and the Advent will prefer to allow the Vasari to burn." "Well, I guess all those that stand in our way will have to go down," J'rah said coldly, "Starting with The Kris Slavers."
(Personal / DS) Henry draws up the contract terms and has both Roesh and Thenos sign it. The handshake was more then enough to seal the deal, but Henry liked to have record of their customers on something more then a recording. Todd and Casey both headed off back to the research stations to get back to work, Roesh, Henry, and Tim stay with Thenos as they take him back to his ship. "Please, forgive my curiosity." Tim asks. "How come you didn't bring anyone with you?" "I didn't know I needed to." Thenos replies. "Well, it's not really needed I suppose, but, for us anyway, it helps if everyone involved knows what's happening." "I'm dealing with more then the Roesh Free Traders then?" Thenos questions. Henry interrupts, "What Tim is elluding to is that for us, Casey and I are necessary attendees because she knows our resources better then anyone, and I know our capabilities better then anyone. Since this deal centered around technology, Todd had to be here in case you asked for something else. He'd know if we could provide it. Tim, of course is responsible for the security of our trade routes, so he has to be here, and Roesh, well, he's the big boss, so we let him show up from time to time." The others snicker a bit after Henry completes his thought. Thenos nods in understanding, "I see, in that case I'd agree you would all have to be present. I figured it was a pressure tactic, much how the military uses numbers to overwhelm and scare his foes into not fighting." Roesh chuckles before Thenos continues. "Admiral Hodgkins, we Advent share a collective mind outside of our own, called the Unity. I may have been the only one physically present, but if I needed them, I could have others present as well." "I'm aware of the Unity, I'm just unaware of it's range. Casey never talks about it. We're quite far from any Advent territory, so if you can still be in touch with them, then I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed." Tim remarks. "And from now on, you can be a little less formal." Roesh adds. "Yes we're a business so professionalism is the highest priority, but comfort is a very close second. If we were trying to go that scare tactic route, I'd have had all of my ships be in your system while we worked something out. Our conference rooms on our trade ports are always well decorated in the hopes that it looks and feels more like a home to our guests rather then just a station in orbit. Most importantly, we'd like you to think of yourself as a guest here, not just a customer or a contract." They board the Assailant and are taken back to the star where the Revenge is waiting patiently. Before Thenos disembarks, Roesh stops him. "A couple of things before you go actually. The first is since Tim is in charge of protecting our routes, if you ever need a little fleet support while we have a contract in place, feel free to call on us. I can't promise my full fleet will be there in an instant, nor can I promise parking a battleship or carrier or two in your systems, but I can say we could lend assistance from time to time should it be needed. We don't follow the traditional sides in war." Thenos considers it, "It's not necessary at this time, but I will remember it." "Before you head home, would you mind doing me a quick favor?" Roesh asks as Tim excuses himself and heads to the bridge. "That depends on the favor I suppose." Thenos remarks. "Oh it's nothing big, when you get back to your ship, just get on your comms and scream a couple of threats at this planet here. I want to tease the govenor a little bit... Just a little game we recently started." Roesh says while pointing to Finley 1 on a map of the system. Unsure of his motives for doing so, Thenos reluctantly agrees to Roesh's request and is taken by shuttle back to the Revenge. Over the comms Tim hears Thenos broadcast to the planet that the Advent have returned to reclaim what is rightfully their's. Thenos then contacts Roesh on the Assailant to inform him that it is done as his ship turns and exits the system. "A priority broadcast from Finley 1, sir." A comms officer reports to Tim. Tim orders the Assailant crew to assume combat training excercise readiness and radios the Foe Hammer to do the same. Both ships raise shields and charge up their weapon batteries. Roesh answers the comms when he finally returns to the bridge. "Govenor Kieran, what can we do for you?" "We've received a threat, you need to handle it. The safety of your people depends on it." Govenor Kieran demands. The Foe Hammer opens up light fire on the Assailant, who's shields absorb all of the damage. Kieran can visibly see everyone on the bridge feel the effects of weapons jarring them about. Roesh answers, "It's being handled Govenor, I hope that comment about my people wasn't a threat." In the background, Tim yells to fire all port weapon batteries. "No, no... Of course not, I was only reminding you that your people are in danger here as well." Govenor Kieran remarks trying weasel his way out of a bad situation. The Assailant rocks again as another salvo hits it's shields and explode. Govenor Kieran stays on the comms and after several more volleys are exchanged, Tim quietly cancels the drill on both ships. After the red alert status is lifted, Roesh says to the govenor, "Problem handled." Kieran replies, "Fantastic job my friend, please, come back to my home so we can discuss this. Allow my hospitality to make amends for any misunderstandings I may have given you." Roesh nods and cuts the comm. Tim laughs before asking if he can attend too. Roesh agrees since he's the reason why the fleet was victorious today. They both laugh some more inciting pockets of chuckles from other officers on the bridge. The Assailant trades duty assignments with the Contender assuming orbit over Finley 1

A slew of ships jump into orbit of Eras VII. Aside from being TEC ships, the bright yellow stars on the sides of the vessels give witness to their allegiance. The Akkan amongst the vessels immediately dispatches a large group of vessels which deliver architectural modules and supplies to the planet, granting it a vast boon to its rebuilding efforts. Alexander assigns Captain Levin to the Rebecca, the Akkan class. Upon further checkups on the remaining fleet elements, he finds that the Red Fleet is nearing the wormhole with Green Fleet lagging far behind due to their servicing.
