I haven't noticed much change on planet size or grav well. What changed? It looks like the grav well got a little bigger, which is good (annoying when scouts can jump in, turn 90 degrees and jump out).
P.S. - looks like the Rom E. Tree/Ovhd/infocard icons got fixed. Much better. Any chance we're gonna see icons for starbases and Rom anti-structure? That's a huge annoyance when trying to target them. I'm using the E. Tree for the first time ever.
Keep in mind everything is a work in progress and the team members are hard at work and in less than a week we have mad solid strides in completing SOA2. We have redone the brushs completly, Resized all celestial objects "planets stars". Intially this was only done to the terran planets. Have since revamped ,done to all planets and stars. We also will be adding new planet types that are tba. But bet on a tropical risa . One thing to keep in mind when we resize planets, gravity wells and stars is stock maps. This has been taken into consideration when resizing "celesital objects". We may not make this mod perfect from a celestial standpoint but we are certainly trying to make this feel more life like and fit into soase . Team members are hard at work completing various models to finish basic slot postions ie "sabre, kron and others." Soa2 is moving at warp speed to a release !!! Check back soon for more details and dont forget we are seeking ideas for abiltites and abilities themselves that fit into the SOA2 mod thanks

P.S. - scratch that, I think I found the changes in grav well. Terran planets (only those that are not your homeworld) have a problem placing structures. See post on issues page.

I have just one question...why can't I research the soverign ship and the defiant ship on the original sins version of the mod?
utility 0 slot for ai functionality

Nice to see you all still puttering away, hope the Major gets through his Real Life Issues mostly intact. Work looks to be around the same quality as an expansion pack that I'd pay for, so I'll wait for that next update and not pester you all about it.

OK i was using the dev.exe and I enabled all of the research an I still can't build the soverign nor the defiant class ships.
Are they dependant on having enough military research stations up?
probably due to when this was moved over to the new build the entity names were changed therefore the research entity is looking for a file that does note exist, this will be fixed before the next release
if you intend to fix this your self open up the ship research that grants access to the ship in question and open up the ship in questions enitty file. then where it says research prequsites change the name there to the ships research = solved
btw i am not dead and the borg will be in the next release been on a very long AFK
mooster, from my looking in the entity files the defiant requires the armourpsi0 research, and the soverign requires the armourpsi1 research, BOTH ships can be built when all research has been completed

I have begun adding the faction to the mod- i have put a txt file in the sync to show the progress of the faction + what needs doing

I have taken the liberty to assign these tasks to everyone on the debug site. Please all team members check the debug site and follow up thanks josh. Beta testers alot of changes are in progress for the next few days do not report on any bugs associated with the borg. Dragoon4ever did update the mine limits on all gravity wells , and starbase counts on some . Please report back . We have finally come to a decision on pulling some planetary items such as the antimatter recharge platforms, and repair platforms. These will be pulled from all races and the shipyards will assume these roles as well as starship building. It will save us a number of mesh and textures, that we would like to use elsewere.

i mean i love this mod but the last 3 months are kinda a big tease nearly as hard as waiting for diablo3..
just throw it out and hotfix the borg in when they are done
ru7h - nah the borg will be in before the release they wont be 100% complete but fully playable <the borg wont delay the release date>
