If they dicked around at every point in a system with 40 orbital bodies, yeah, it did. FTL speeds are nice and fast in Star Wars, but you don't see ships zipping around planets in a few minutes time. The planets are still a small fraction of the size they'd need to be for a realistic relationship with the travel speeds.
I played it until my brain hurt testing out abilities, the pacing is nice. If it needs something, it's quicker start.

This mod is absolutely beautiful, though i was wondering if Starbases will eventually be in it, like those huge ones from the Movies and TNG. I'd love to build Starbases near Asteroid Bases.

Are any of the other old Star Trek games there yet? Like Starfleet command II or X Ships? I tried to install them and my new machine wont let me enter the keycode for them... the screen just dings at your when you try and type anything
Oh and yes I tried running it other compatibility modes and no luck
Oh that would be HOT! I just thought once this mod is done.. If any of the developers escape with their sanity intact ... A mod based on Star Fleet Academy II with all those races would be AWESOME!!! And tons of fluff and ships in there you wouldn't have to scratch your heads wondering what to model.. But Gorn, Lyrans, Hydran ... Ugh so much good!!!

I DLed it and it worked fine, try it again, since it is one of the best ST games ever IMO.
Regarding ship ability ideas, I know myself and a few others posted some on that google project thing you guys had up, so there are a few there. Also, what ships exactly do you need abilities for? (or if it's easier, what ships don't you want ability ideas for?)
Basically just send in what you have, we'll decide what fits best on what ship and how to balance it. We aren't looking for anything ship specific, just some ideas, if you have an idea that might only work with one ship, send it in anyway!
Ok I sent in my first set of suggestions it's only 1 for each race atm but I hope it helps. I am sure it's stuff you already thought of but the fluff might be nice that I added . PS I know I spell PISS but the idea should come across just fine
