Increasing the amount of favor items you can use from 1 to 2. Maybe with some restriction regarding the high end ones/original items.

I love this idea, and i really would like to see it in game but there are several large problems. First is that certain Demigods would become nearby invurnable beg game, like UB could get Mard's Hammer and poisoned Dagger, + Bestial Wrath and those weapon damage gloves, and boom, hes doing 400 damage and fast. I propose a whole cit upgrade that allows for more item slots and yes, more favor items. Do you guys agree? Anyways though, /singed!

Hm, if they did allow that, they'd probably need to make it so that you can have one active favor item, (to go in the F4 slot) and one passive favor item. In regards to making sure no one starts out too powerful, maybe if you had to wait until level 10 to get your second one?
Why not just make items that you can conbine, example take item 1 and combine it with item 2 and get a new item 3!

totally unbalanced but who cares?
allowing 2 favor items would increase the balance. it can even out some of the problems with the new favor items. you can still take an important active favor item + an hp one. hence the relative difference reduces compared to the actuall situation (the absolute hp difference may remain but the relative one is the important one).
You might want to add restrictions with the advanced versions not stacking with their first tier version, but dual favors would be awesomeness.

such restrictions are not necessary because one to conter can take one of these two itself, thus although he has less hp messured relatavly to the total amount of hp it is a relativly smaller difference. stacking of similar favor items does not make it imbalance.
Why haven't anyone thought about this before? Such a simple and crazy idea of AWESOMENESS!
(..And you can never get to many game settings, so give us 1,2,3,4.. favor items options! More settings to the people!)

agreed it actually would make it so that the low base health QoT gets the ability to get both something like staff of the warmage and blood of the fallen effectively givingher much more staying power. Or heck double warmage. +1600 mana ftw
Or make it where you can pick one standard Favor item, and one Assassin/General specific Favor item.
Example: Regulus could select Swift Anklet (standard) and Heaven's Wrath (Assassin specific)
