Demigod v1.2 has passed what we call our tech QA and is now in consumer QA (i.e. compatibility and such).

Commenting is enabled to allow people to complain about the balancing since you can blame me for it. I read through the comments and various threads and compiled a list of requested changes along with my own experiences from playing. So you can see a lot of things have been made less expensive. The new favor items are largely just “upgrades” (requiring a lot more favor points) to the existing ones. I tried to request items that could be realistically added. So in other words, don’t flame GPG. Flame Brad (me).
The modding is going to become a big deal I believe as I am hoping we will be able to have our own mods that players will be able to distribute here on the game site or that we’ll eventually bundle with the game if they’re popular enough.

Okay, so they have our consensus. Piss off to the badly thought out, overpowered favors that screw up the current diversity of play styles we have with the current ones. I think this one couldn't actually be any more unanimous. The question is, will they listen?

It has been months now that they are questioning your authority and competence by continuesly hacking the game and then bragging about it in a bad manner.
In all the years i am a gamer i have never seen so bad behaviour and lack of respect from gamers as these 2 guys.
STARDOCK please look at my arguments and click in my links. Right now i have no time to check the forums, but with a little digging i can find numerous posts of these guys bragging and openly admitting about hacking Demigod.
Such behaviour should be INTOLERABLE.
1. Ban these guys or lose honest players of this game (including me)
2. If you cant ban Belier13 and Apika, then unban playgroundlegend because all he did was insult a SD staff member (kryo).
this is not justice. I know it sounds extreme, but it is like convicting a bank robber to life in prison, and let a murderer go away without being sentenced to go to prison or anything else.
Some time ago you banned SocialistRyan for hacking the game JUST 1 TIME ONLY. Thank you for unbanning him. But now i am asking you nicely to ban these 2. they are the only ones they deserve it.
If no action is taken place i will stop playing for good.

Well those two should clearly be banned, but I assume the people at GPG/SD actually have to check logs and do some investigation before doing so. I'm not saying that they're off the hook for letting those guys still play, but playground's trolling was overt and easily identified. He clearly broke the rules, was muted as a warning, and then circumvented that warning. It's pretty cut and dry.
If you want to compare this to a muderer walking free and a bank robber getting life in prison, that's fine. Just realize that playground would be the bankrobber who wears the shoes with lights on them and a giant picture of his driver's license on his shirt and apika/belier would be the murderers who are at least smart enough to put on gloves and a mask.
*edit* also come on dude, they seriously posted that an hour and fourty minutes before you posted here. I seriously doubt anyone at a software company is staying late in the office scanning every thread on the forums just in case some guy who's already been banned before shows up with a new account.
Just report his post and see what happens in the morning.

Smurfing = Purchasing a second copy of the game. I accept that Belier and Apika have been banned, but afaik we have no reason to be banned with our latest accounts. At some point you've got to be fair and reasonnable.

Seriously though, let's focus on 1.2 changes in this thread, I was really hoping to get some kind of updated feedback based on our opinions of the favor items but it seems this thread is doomed now.

I am sorry for my really bad behaviour today. I got mad easy for even small things I made a rather disturbing post which i deleted (kind of). Sorry for my long rant/trolling/flaming. whatever u want to call it.
I thought that Belier13 and Apika were not banned. but they are. At least Swift Justice does exist. The hammer sometimes is slow while other times it goes BOOM
Anyway, Playgroundlegend says: Once the player base got small, no one wanted to play me anymore, so I decided to talk smack in an effort to have people challenge me over pride.... that didn't work either. I couldn't get games anymore so my account was useless. I planned this for some time now hence "Who wants my account" thread. My account was "banned" the minute the overlay come out, hence my thread "the overlay is ruining my life". I have 5 real life friends who quit the game and 5 cd keys, I am not going anywhere and I am not spending any more money.

You are far more kind than I. The only reason these shites went and bought a new game (if they in fact did that) was because they couldn't play on their old accounts. They said they'd keep doing this (desyncing/host disconnecting) until you could stop them. You stop them, so they get new accounts. I personally don't care if they want to behave themselves or not now. They chose to act like 6 year olds for 4 months after repeated requests that they'd stop they behavior. They gave the community the finger and now the community should give them the finger. IMHO.
Re: playground - I hope you can see that he's been asking for this. No offense to him, but I seriouly think he was trying to get banned from the game. He already has another account for the forums and the game, btw. Not sure if that got shut down or not.

anyways i love most of the new updates and buff's i gotta agree with some people tho new players are really going to have a hard time getting into this game when pro player's just hammer them down
I Fear the demon assassin may become a Super DG Killer and hopefully we'll see some better tweaks to QoT
as for the TB being able to attack in fire mode THANK YOU it was about time he got that fixed
Side note for the QoT being able to Heal Towers i really hope light side gets a DG that can heal tower's too Perhaps Sed?
