Windows 7 Release

DesktopX Pro 3

Hey folks;

I have a question for you reguarding Microsoft 's New Windows 7 release.

Will the new DesktopX Pro 3 thats in Impulse dated 11/06/2009 run with Windows 7?

I need to know pretty quick because I have Windows 7 and I'm getting ready to upgrade from Vista P2. I have a desktop that I use constantly in DesktopX Pro 3 and I don't want to not be able to run DesktopX Pro 3 after Upgrade to Windows 7.. I looked at the requirements for DesktopX Pro 3 and it didn't show in Impulse "More Info" that it would.

Can you let me know if there is going to be problems with this set-up?

Second: From Product Info:

System Requirements
Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista (32 bit all OS's).
20MB free drive space.
256MB RAM.

It is updated and installed through Impulse which works with W7.

In practice: Works just fine with W7. My system is W7Pro x 32. Can't tell you about x64.

I would PM RedneckDude, sViz  or Wizard1956 re further info. They're very up on DX and very friendly and helpful. You can find them pretty easily in various Forum Threads but all are

I've written a small script on my Win7 x64 box here and don't have an issue. If there was a specific dxpack you wanted me to attempt running to verify that it worked, I'd be happy to oblige.

Hello Automan, Are you still working on Prometheus SLI? Since I am writing this in Oct., 2010 I was wondering if you have given up on your project. I saw the screenshots that are up on Wincustomize and I find your Prometheus DesktopX Theme the only one I would have liked to download and use in a long time. The screenshot(s) are awesome.
