So I've been playing on and off since beta 1, although didn't really get to play online properly til around easter this year when the connectivity problems I was having were sorted out. Played a lot before summer and was enjoying it, but after going travelling, when I got back I didn't really feel the urge to play again.
Anyway, I normally check this website pretty regularly just to see what updates are in the pipeline, and spotted the new overlay and the seemingly less buggy stats system, so decided to have another go. 24 hours later and I've played 50-odd games, completely ignored the real life priorities I had, and am now frothing at the mouth in a familiar gamer zombie state at 6am after playing way too much. Also, played with some cool people - only encountered 1 or 2 sour internet dwellers the whole time. From 18 months of playing this game on and off, the last 24 hours has been the most fun I've had with it. Just thought I'd quietly mention that, even though this thread seems doomed to be lost amongst the shouts and screams of people convincing themselves that the sky is falling and the game is in constant decline, I am very much rage joining this vidja game.
a nice story and yes this game can be very addictive at times...thats why i missed alot of my classes 4th week into college ah but thats another story. thread title had me hoping of actual rage joins since we see alot of non-sensical people on the forums i was hoping for something like "GOD I HATE YOU ALL AND THIS GAME SO LET ME IN ON YOUR TEAM NOAWWWWWWWW"

Cerzi - I think I got the chance to play with you tonight. This guy had a very positive attitude and just got it. If i remember right, he was in one of my lobbies where i was pugging. Several people were asking us to balance (it wasn't all that imbalanced at the time btw). We tried to move people, I was fully willing to move and did. Several people left, but some stayed. I remember chatting Cerzi up and complaining... I really just want to get a game in. COME ON! And he backed that up as well. We don't have any great match making. We can try to make things even as best we can, but at the end of the day, wouldn't you rather just get a game going? Even if its not perfectly balanced, isn't it better to play than to wait for that last magical player to join that perfectly balances your stats?
My mentality is sadly becoming more and more basic lately. I simply want to play the game. Give me lousy teammates. Give me whatever. Don't cry that the game is imbalanced even though 3 people have agreed to change sides. Just play and try to have some fun. I try to play with my premade when I can, but mostly am doing pugs just so I can get more games in without a 30 minute delay.

I try to balance as best as I can as my mentality is gimme a game aswell. I have had better luck with the overlay than most though as I tend get people in my rooms that want fair games. I am enjoying playing hard to win longer games since the overlay has been implimented.

ya.. i had a pretty enjoyable game just now that filled up decently quick.. game required a minimum 200 games played.. but % didnt matter. Went very well.. my teammates each had 32% wins and I had 84%, and my opponent was 71% 48% and 38%. It seemed balanced in the lobby.. but I was wary they still might not be that great due to win %. In the end.. it really didn't matter about %. They played great
I might be high ranked.. but honestly I don't give a shit about win / lose games anymore as long as I can play. But I don't like playing with noobs on my team.. Enjoyed the idea of a 200 min. games played lobby, especially finding one that filled quickly 5 a.m. my time! Normally just see noobs only games that late.. or nothing : /
