I've had my eye on this game for a while now. I played through the first Divinity game and it wasn't bad. In this one they give you the ability to turn into a Dragon and fly around causing massive destruction. It's a hybrid Action/Rpg. As of now this game is only in German (which I speak loosely) but I'm waiting for the English release to pick it up. I could get the German version and add a text pack that turns all the "written" text in game to English but the spoken dialog would still be in German. GameSpot also has some decent play footage of the game if anyone wants to check it out. This could be another good diversion to hold us over those last few months until Elemental comes out.

There is a lot of game play footage on Youtube, i have seen it. Like 14 different parts of it. Though, i have not seen all 14 of them. It looks decent, and...i think it kinda feels like Risen, the recetn game that came out I doubt it is as nonlinear as the Elderscrolls or Risen for that matter. I think it is more like Dragon age Origins except you are your own party. I played the first Dvinity, it is not a bad game, story was interesting to say the least.
I'm playing Risen right now with a few other things. It has the Action/Rpg hybrid game play as well. It's fun but you can't turn into a dragon and fly around. You get a levitate spell that runs out way too fast.
The game play in Divinity 2 looks a lot better. I've also read you can do fun things with magic and read peoples minds but at a rather high cost. This can open hidden quests though that you wouldn't get otherwise. As long as they don't cage off half the world so you can't fly in it (like Aion) the flying around will be awesome.
I'm also counting the days to Dragon Age Origins. It's going to be a fun next six months to be a Rpg fan. I'm also noticing a trend in the industry to make games that blend Rpg elements into Fps games. I think people are finally starting to tire of the basic Fps types of game play which will be a great thing for the evolution of the genre.
I am playing Risen right now, and my video card is barely handling it, and...as a result, combat is a nightmare. I mean, it would have been better if they just made it point and click for combat. I can't judge hwo far ia m from the enemy so i keep missing it when i try to hit it.
