i gotta say after a couple games i was bored, and wanted to go back to playing demigod heres what i love though my friend played demigod and said LoL was better because you got skill points when you leveled up and could buy items at a shop.............epic fail
i said you could do that in demigod and he went dude this is bettttttttter though its more tactical i lol'd

The Art Style really just hurts, for me. The gameplay is ok, nothing amazing, but the whole package just puts me off.
I Totally agree with Zeh. I hate that art design, and all the options arrangement, etc. I'd rather HoN, at least it has a good art design, organized information and a good engine.
I can't stand how HoN and LoL both focus on fighting NPCs rather than players. I really feel like I spend the majority of the game staring at creep health to get killing blows. Also the lack of zoom is infuriating.

LoL is a game called League of Legends, which many people feel is in competition with Demigod. My biggest complaint is that, last I checked, they took an idea from CoD 4 and gave your character buffs for playing the game longer than someone else, which is just silly.
yea it hurts more than lazer beamz in my eyes. uninstalled after 5 mins of play.

Well i think the fact that League of Legends and HoN actually function is a reason why a lot of people like it. I mean everyone wants a game that works right? Also 8 Heroes vs 30 Heroes? That allows for creative team designs, a great variety of heroes to choose from, with different play styles and difficulty. I think thats why alot of people like those games. Ive played league of legends the leveling meta system is cool, but its not the real reason why more people are playing that.
having 30 heros does not garantee diversity in playstyle. you can label the more or less same skills with different effects and names. i have not played HoN, but Dota and DG has with its 8 demigods more diversity in individual playstyle than dota with its whole bunch of heros that are never as close to a balance as it is here.
i agree with cel mare...its the same with strategy games...u can have 8 civilisations or 25 yet the one with 25 is just differnt pictures and names with same stats....

LoL is joke, and HoN is far from being bettter than DG imo. Just be patient, Im sure with more DGs and modd this game will ROCK (its already pretty good right now).
I'm not going to go into people's likes/dislikes between HoN/LoL/DG but LoL just screwed itself anyway.

can i just say ROFL...and i thought demigod had some probs if not minute ones compare to that lol...i cant imagine being a aussie and trying to get a game through the night/early morning without my US counterparts....
Well the divide is europe only atm. Everything else runs through the US servers.
HoN is heroes of newearth... google it see the youtube videos then forget about it (imo)...diablo 3 is coming out maybe december. why anyone would buy HoN is beyond me but if u get it for free...dun know
I bought it and don't see what it has to do with Diablo III coming out whenever. Not the same type of game.
u make a good point there, the more reading im doing into heroes of newerth the better some things are then demigod...eg they are obviously putting more money into perfecting it and getting the updates up and running...i think the problem with demigod is its already made its money...u go to EB games or somewher and they only have 1 copy in stock (if ur lucky)... but anyway ill read a bit more next time i post.
