In each reply, simply include the prase "I would give you karma, but" and insert a funny/rediculous reason why not to. And don't even THINK about it Anatar11. Anatar11 may now play if chosen to.
Karma will be given for the following posts:
10001074 (don't ask)11111234150020002612 Lookie here 300040005000
Or just ask... ME!
Revolutionanime.net has all the eng. episodes on there. Although, ep. 5 is a little sketchy right now...
I would give you karma, but looking for the virus my comp. has is making me lag like hell.
Koda0 (^)
I would give you karma but I have to go check out that site and thanks.
I would give you karma, but anything to help out another follower of Geass.
I would give you karma, but did you check the processes running in your OS to look for anything suspicious?
Also, check the startup tab in msconfig.
My OS? msconfig? I might not have a life, but you've lost me w/ your computer speak.
LOL
Ok listen up:
Press ctrl+alt+del. Open task manager. Go to the "processes" tab. Look for anything suspicious there, eg. a process that uses too much of your CPU like 20 or more %. Note that the "System Idle Process" doesnt use any %. Just ignore this.
Anything that uses too much of your CPU, and you dont know what it is, try to find it (Windows Search), and scan it with an Antivirus prog.
OS means Operating System. Sorry but almost everyone knows that...
Now another important thing you should do, is to open msconfig to look for suspicious programms (potential viruses) that may be running at the start of Windows. Windows by default has many programms running at startup.
How to:
Click "Start" at left bottom side of the taskbar, and open the "Run" window. If you have vista or Win 7 it might be somewhere else. What OS do you have?
Once you open it, type "msconfig" inside the box (without the "). This will open msconfig. Go to the "Startup" tab.
Look for any programms seem suspicious to you, or you simply dont know what exactly they are doing.
Note that there might be something important there, so you should not haste to disable anything you dont know what it is. If you can make a post with a list of anything there is in your Startup, in msconfig, I would be happy to tell you which ones to disable (or leave enabled).
Questions?
I would give you karma but you aren't following hte rules
I would give you karma, but I am actually thinking of giving +1 karma to IrationalFear, for creating this awesome forum post.
Then again its his own rules not to give karma....
I woulda give you karma but you have a + in your reply
LOL Shiro
What if I had a - ?
I would give you karma, but your profile name is not Lelouch, or at least Lelouch_Sol.
I would give you karma, but thx for the info.
The scan is done, with failure. 2 1/2 MILLION objects scanned, no virus found. (Which is irritating since I know for a FACT it's there, on the 31st a pop up said that my computer was infected with Trojans, and then it started to list them. In a matter of about.... 7 seconds it claimed to have detected 88 Trojans, which I know is FALSE since for one: If I had 88 Trojans I wouldn't be able to use the Calculator without issues, and for Two: The entire pop-up itself was a link to download something... happened yesterday, too... except this time it claimed to have found thousands of deleted files that contained harmful spyware, and then listed several dozen of them and blah blah.)
The only thing that I found that was suspicious in the msconfig was either the Microsoft Corporation file (Since the pop-up claimed to be windows security) or the Microsoft Office file. Everything else seems to be a necessary item. Nothing on my OS uses more than 02% on the Task Manager, but I use Vista so idk.
EDIT\\\ Here's a suspicious file... it always uses 2-3% on the Task Manager, yet I've never heard of it before. It's file name is Desktop Window Manager, DWM for short. Anybody know what this is?
Desktop Window Manager (DWM, previously Desktop Compositing Engine or DCE) is the desktop graphical user interface system in Windows Vista and Windows 7 that enables the Windows Aero graphical user interface and visual theme. The Desktop Window Manager requires video cards supporting DirectX 9.0 and Shader Model 2.0. DWM is not included with Windows Vista Starter edition. It is included with Windows Vista Home Basic edition, but with some aspects of the Windows Aero interface (such as transparent Glass and Flip 3D) disabled. It is also included with Windows Server 2008, but requires the "Desktop Experience" feature and compatible graphics drivers to be installed.
I copy pasted this text from Wikipedia. People always understimate the power of Google.
I would give you karma, but this is kinda neccessary. Except if you dont want much graphics in your Vista Aero themes.
...
I feel stupid now.
Hmm... maybe my Mom already deleted the Virus this morning when the scan was completed? (She does get up when I go to bed, so...)
I think I"ll just hog the computer for the rest of vacation the best I can until I'm sure the Virus is gone.
I would give you karma, but you've put me to shame.
koda0, I would give you karma, but you should also use spybot search and destroy as you have a FALSE av
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/, and one of the favourite tricks of these false av's is a HIDDEN task in task manager and hidden startup run commands,
the reason I suggest spybot is that I have had several similar problems with customer's computers, and the false av's remained in the computer untill I used spybot on the computer.
harpo
harpo is 100% right.
You should use spybot, it has helped me too getting rid of some nasty viruses that other AV's couldnt find.
Some programms are specialised to protect your pc from catching a virus and other threats, while other programms are specialised in getting rid of viruses and theats that have already infected your pc.
I suggest that your 1st choice should be spybot, and if you dont want or dont like this program, your second choice should be Spyware Doctor.
Spyware Doctor has helped me sometimes in the past also.
I would give you karma, but I wanted to recommend to koda0 spybot too, but i forgot it
p.s. Welcome back harpo
I would give you karma, but you forgot. and I was only submerged for 3 days, but did not see anything work posting until now.
I would give you karma, but you did not capitalize the first letter of the first word, in your second sentence (and). Also, I think you meant "worth" not "work".

Thanks !
I would give you karma but I am busy fighting against people stealing my saved game files for Soase and replacing with a file such as; the few seconds before getting owned by a large army.
I would give you karma, but this is the 2nd time Harpo has helped me out with a Virus problem. I'll download that l8r tonite. Until then, I"ll just hog the computer as normal.
Thx Again, Harpo and Morpheas!
Dang it, if only I'd gotten here when I could have helped. I would give you karma but my English essay on Star Wars (yes, I'm serious) prevented me.
I would give you karma, but that just proves my point about the overthrow of Star Wars in favor of Code: Geass.
I would give you karma but you were hating on the Sova in corrupt a wish.
-Exile(\/)
I would give you karma but the Sova is a horrible fighter, great supporter,
I would give you Karma but the Sova is almost a full combat ship. A fleet unto itself.
I would give you karma, but the 1000th post karma will be mine, mwahahahahahaha
