We have priests, angels, cats, giants, and of course summons and idols....
In all these minion types theres none that affect mana. I think it would be good to have a creep type called "Gypsies" (or whatever) that work the same as monks, but instead of healing they regen mana. Also, perhaps a minion type that does no damage, but drains mana..... The mana drain minion could be a 4th category of idols,maybe a "Black widow" spider or some such...
Thats a very nice idea. In fact I thought about this before but never made a post about it.
This doesnt look that interseting, whats the point of have a minion that does no damage. Unless its reallly cheap. But if it does damage, it would make LE and Oak minions builds even more powerful!
I'd take mana draining minions vs TB and sedna and such. It can really put a hurting on your opponent if they can't use as many abilities as you can.
Not sure about the mana draining minions. Le and Oak have enough fun as it is.
But the mana creeps...Yes, fantastic idea. Maybe wizards or something, something akin to magic? Could slot in after angels. Make Angels 3400 and Catas 5000 and make the gypsies/wizards say 4400.
wat if this creep type does, 4 mana regen to nearby allies and -5 mana regen to nearby enemies? there would be only be 1 of this type of creep in each wave. (stacks at 8 mana regen and 10 mana degen.)
It would be very easy for mana draining creeps to break the game. Mana regen creeps are a better and safer idea. They should replace the near-useless angels. Perhaps they could regenerate 10% of your mana base every 10 seconds?
I've always thought it cool to have the angels be able to revive dead reinforcements/minions. That would make them more useful.
ive found angels quite useful, mainly when trying to defend portal locks. ive spotted ppl through angels vision coming down the side of cataract to cap our portals, this gave me the time to react and stop them from doing so.
ive also suggested this before... when an angel dies it heals everyone for X% of its max health in a fairly large radius.
