Added configuration option to show Ready to Play on the task bar all the time.
Added configuration option to display time stamps in chat window.
Ready to Play now prompts the user on startup to fill out their user profile.
Added functionality to close invites when a group chat window is closed.
Instant invites now "stack" above each other, instead of opening exactly on top.
Fixed bug where RTP allowed an invitation to be sent to an user with a status of "unavailable".
Fixed bug where pasting multiple lines into chat only pasted one line.
Fixed bug where a user could click Join on an instant invite and appear in the group chat multiple times.
Fixed bug where cancel invite did not work correctly.
Fixed bug where chat history was not scrolling correctly.
Fixed bug where a blank name could appear in the list due to an "in between" status

Ready to Play now lists what game people are playing.
Added a feature that displays the selected player count on invite button.
Moved add more games to drop down menu and removed the configure games link.
Changed the system tray icon to be a single click to activate.
Clicking close now minimizes Ready to Play to the system tray instead of closing.
Added feature so that taskbar chat items so that when minimized they flash when a new message arrives.
Fixed a bug with the horizontal scroll bar.
Fixed a bug where the busy icons were not aligning correctly.
Improved sort order for Recommended Friends.
Changed the instant invite dialog to say "Decline" instead of "Reject"

I was getting a crash on launch after this update. Windows gave me the "ReadytoPlay has stopped working" box and I was unable to launch. Uninstalling and reinstalling has resolved this issue.

I rebooted my Vista x64 PC for the first time in a few days - possibly since before the latest RTP update. I rebooted because I'd just installed another app set (Visual C# Express 2010 Beta 2) and it required a reboot. Afterwhich, at next logon, Ready to Play crashed, as I had it set to run at logon. Thinking that it may be conflicting with any of the other many programs and applets I have loading at startup (or one of the many components that get installed along with any of the VS Express packages, e.g., .NET 4 beta), I tried running it separately, with the same negative result. I selected Verfiy Installation from the app context menu in Impulse and it reported no problems.

So... I uninstalled Ready to Play and reinstalled and that resolved the issue. This may also indicate that the "Verify Installation" option in Impulse is not functional.

Later today we will release Ready to Play 0.98[b].222. I just updated the release notes above for this release.

Please note that you will need to update to this version for the chat to work going forward. Older versions still point to a different chat server for compatability, but all users should update to this version before using Ready to Play.

I had ready to play installed on my machine when I had vista but after I had to wipe my machine and install Windows 7 when I install ready to play and try and run it I get an error message saying that it stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing solves the problem.

Now that RtP has been put on hold, should we assume that some of the matchmaking technology will be used in Elemental, Impulse Reactor, or other products in development? RtP showed great promise.
