There is no rebuttal, these are true and tested facts. No reply needed, however there will be a few that do dispute this and this is fine and to be expected. But the facts don't lie. Drum roll please.......
This was a 2 month study done on ALL demigods, factoring in many things along the way...starting armor value, skills, speed, ect..ect..
We'll start with the weakiest and work down the list to most powerful:
8.) Regulus. Although his snipe and mine skill are nice it just doesn't do enough damage. Regulus skills are only useful in a game with someone you know or if you end up with a good teammate. These skills are only good for finishing the opponent off after your teammate has widdled your opponents life down to nothing. Regulus with speed buffs is fair but he lacks in serious hit points starting off and holding flags at the beginning is difficult for this character.
7.) Torchbearer. Nice skills as he can go either Ice or Fire but again, this character lacks true power when holding flags or going face-to-face with a more powerful opponent. Speed is average, hit points average upon starting of game. Again, this character is more or less a finishing off type of character as his skills aren't enough to do it alone. One pro, this character levels up quickly.
6.) Rook: Extremely versatile, lots of hit points and armor. Very powerful at holding flags at the first of the game. Does serious damage to structures....however, he has one weakness, he's extremely slow at first and even with speed buffs if choosen is at best average against other demigods as his light towers help but only in the beginning and mid-game. Rook is good for one thing and one thing only in my opinion and thats purging ahead slowly doing as much damage as he can to structures. He is a great supporting character in a multiplayer game, however he has to be careful not to go to far inland or he will get caught up by the opponent and enviatably killed as he retreats.
5.) Sedna: Quick, nimble, great skills, just doesn't have the umpf needed though to take on most of the demigods in a balls out fight. Her minons are weak compared to other demigod minons.
4.) Oak: Awesome fighter, great skills that actually help during a face-to-face battle. Strong hitpoints and armor, his minons are average at best and the raise dead skill is nice...Oak is most powerful later in the game level 10 and higher he becomes quite a powerful adversary.
3.) Unclean Beast: This was difficult as I had to spend extra time studying this character. He's pretty much balanced but where he excels above the rest mentioned thus far is his ability to strike hard and fast. For a good player, if he can master the UB the UB is unstoppable. His speed is above average with all speed buffs applied. Does great damage to enemy very quickly, able to stun to finish opponent off.
2.) Queen of Thorns: Looks can be deceiving, but I tell you she is undoubtly (in the right hands) completely unstoppable. She is most unstoppable because of her bramble shield effect and her minons and her ability to move in out of battle quickly. With the right build, QoT is extremely hard to beat and she does great damage. Her ability to regenerate mana is by far one of the best in the game.
Now for the Best....
1.) By far, hands down, the Vampire Lord is absolutely the best character in the entire game. He has ungodly skills that pretty much decimate any foe he comes upon. He's ability to have a total of 15 POWERFUL minons at his disposal will crush anything. Able to carry battles on at multiple locations at once. Able to quicly drain hit points and his bite goes through armor like a knife through warm butter. He is absolutely over-powered in my eyes, moves extremely FAST in and out of battle. At level 10 and above he is a tank and basically unstoppable....period. Until he is nerfed, my advice is this...if you see that your opponent is playing Erebus just concede because your doing nothing but wasting your time and his by staying and playing. He mows through all the other DG's like they nothing. I spent the most time studying this character because I was fascinated by actually how powerful he was. I'm curious if the developer's realized this? He is by far with no rebuttal THE BEST DG in the game.
Some will disagree, others will not...it doesn't matter actually...this is my 2 month study take it for what it's worth as the numbers do not lie....
i dont use towers2k nuke at lvl 10 works wonders, especially when you solo lane, everyone else is level 8, and you have over 7k hp
There should always be 1 level of towers somewhere in a build, if only for for teleporting.
This.
How did QoT not get the number 1 spot? I think your testing is flawed.
way to waste 2 months to be so drasticly wrong.
best demigod; UB. why? he can chain stun
ere
sedna
oak
reg
rook
tb
worst demigod; qot (if you need to ask why there is no help for you)
QOT the worst you say?...lol, not by far my young paddawong. She is probably one of the best. (If you need to ask why there is no help for you.)

That's all fine and dandy, but it's your lack of speed that makes you weak and vulnerable.
Any other DG will absolutely trash QoT by midgame. She's good at early support and her AoE lets her level quickly but she's pretty much below average at everything else.
i dont need speed when i can kill 2 demigods before they are able to run away with a well timed stun + slam, and go 1v1 versus anyone and not have to run (rook has superior stats to any other demigod - and I will be taking items which allow me to have 8k hp and 50% armor mitigation if i do not lose gold through dying)take 1x totem of revelation early game so you can start running way before anyone reaches you to help prevent early game deaths.basically if you play as a pure slam rook and don't die early game, and stay in lane all the time, you can faceroll at level 10. just solo lane, stay in range of exp, run behind towers if multiple enemies are coming, and let your allies dual lane other lanes for war score. one counter tactic that REALLY pisses me off is when you have an erebus + UB on the enemy team, the erebus is able to appear and swarm + bite you before you can even start running (even with totem +vision radius) and the move speed of UB allows him to catch up whilst i have bite debuff on = death
p.s. i always take wand of speedyes rook is not the most powerful demigod. yes towers + staff of renewal is probably a more efficient rook build. but i have waaay too much fun with slam rook and have played many many games with it. i do not like the other rook builds; hybrid because i prefer to have abilities maxxed as early as possible before the enemy can really stack hp, and towers because its boring as hell as every other demigod runs away from you.
Uh, why?
Seriously guy, show us some numbers. LE, UB, and heaven help us, even TB have given me more trouble online than QoT. Shield is annoying, yes, but not amazing. It also doesn't scale very well.
She is the worst. All of the other DG's are significantly better. If you had a team of LE/QoT/UB vs LE/Sedna or Oak/UB and all players were equal skill the second team would win.
This has been discussed several times in several difference threads. Yes, there's a honey-moon period when you're playing vs randoms where she performs really well but as the people you play get progressively better and the games get harder she gets worse and worse until you realise that it's a major gamble playing with her unless you're in a premade. And even then she has a limited role and you'd be better off with a top tier DG (LE,UB,Oak,Sedna FYI).
lol @ myself
^^ Is that meant for another thread?

Let me know the time and date you'd like to test this.
QoT is terrible, except maybe on Prison which is a bad map anway.
Reg's snipe is good.... comparing its raw damage stats ignores its massive range advantage. Its not DPS its support and utility e.g. get a demigod that would have gotten away, snipe a DG chasing a friendly to get themt o back off etc.
QOT is sedna without an interupt, and without awesome priest buffing, and basically with no late mid and late game power.
QOT can get a insane survavibility, but IMHO she is the hardest DG to play. I would not put her in tier 1, but certainly not in last position either.
Problem with this DG is that it seems to lack everything : health, speed and mana, dps.
On the other hand she's able to pull down buildings faster than other DG (except maybe rook), to stand in most battle using shield and mush, and to stack additionnal bonuses DURING the fight (which is GREAT because not much people take this in consideration) or to reach decent damage output when microing shamblers carefully.
You got many option with that DG, most of them are weak in 'general situation', but strong occassionnaly. If you choose your path carefully according to the situation you can take an important role in your team.
itsmevic:
QoT is probably better than people give her credit for. But if she is not in last place, then who is?
heres my list:
1.Erebus
2.everyone else
durr hurr qot #2
durrrrrrrrrr
LE- Bat Swarm too good, Minions way too easy & powerful, Bite also quite useful
Oak- Quite a bit like Sedna, except Penitence > Pounce, Shield usually > Heal (assuming you know how to use Monks), and much more useful minions
UB- Spit & Ooze have good damage and own with Grasp, hard to get away
Sedna- Decently rounded, and quite effective in multi-player engagements, where her heal and pounce make all the difference
Rook- I may be biased on this one (I play Rook 95% of the time), but allies teleing in to his towers covers his speed weakness pretty well, and towers & slam are both very high dps
TB- Needs to shut up. He'd probably be last on my list except with BotS he can cast spells all day, with the added bonus of some extra autoattack damage, so he can do pretty well if he's not taken out
QoT- I think her main problem is that her burst dps is too low; the cast time and the need to take advantage of the armor mitigation on her main nuke hurts her game, and no nterrupt to stop teles/etc is gg in this game (Even though I have her quite low, I think Shield needs to be nerfed a bit by reducing its duration)
Reg- Maybe would be better in lagless games, but as it is he can't do the kiting/harassment to keep his enemies at bay, so he ends up getting pushed out of his lane (or at least can't hold the flag)
UB casts ooze all over this thread
