I have been wanting to help organize a new community theme project for quite a while. With the holidays rapidly approaching, and the fact that Christmas is one of the most popular skinning holidays, I would like to propose a community project around that.
What do you say?
My idea, subject to further input from the community.
Christmas/Winter Holiday Theme Pack
This would include at the minimum:
At the end this would all be wrapped up in a Theme Manager suite.
My thought is a minimal-type theme that will appeal to a broad range of people, yet have a big influence of holiday colors or design.
What we need?
I need a Project Manager who will help coordinate skinners and their activities.
We also need ideas for a unique name plus design ideas.
September 28th Update:
Here is the current list of people who have signed up to participate. Aside from the WindowBlinds theme as we want to keep it consistent, several people can create themes of the same type as long as they stay within the theme.

Okay, this is shaping up to be one very nice Community Project. I'm getting the skins as they show up in the libraries and building my description for the suite.
Excellent work by everyone, just hope I don't mess things up with the desktop screenshot for the suite.

Looking very good folks, by my count 10 skins are now uploaded and available.
Is there any updated status on the remaing skins?
Would like to see an updated status on the Wallpaper, Sysmetrix, Vista Logons and Screensavers.
Okay folks, here is what the screenshot is looking like for the suite, so far.
I've addead a few non-theme skins including an Icon Package. Using a bit of transparency on those skins that allow it. Just waiting on the last skins to get uploaded and I will finish the suite.
Looks like AzDude put together a wallpaper and a logon!

I have to admit though that this Holiday Theme makes it very easy to set up a desktop. Like I said above, just a little transpparency I think helps. I also have already made a small change so that the SysMetrix skin will fit.
Now, where are the rests of the skins?

EDIT: i will not be uploading the Suite tomorrow. I realized that I was living in my own little world not thinking again. We all do have lives that should come first. Lets try and shot for this coming weekend.
