High Towers for the win, folks, the game is way more fun, as it doesn't allow a single reg, or other demigod to down in tower before level 5. The whole point of towers are act defensive shield, not someting you can walk just walk thourgh or down single handly, after all the towers are you last line of defense..they need to be strong (in fact I would argue high just isn't enough), change your settings..its the way the game was ment to played.
High towers severely skews the balance of demigods IMO.

I absolutely agree with this topic. High Towers are where it's at. Because no matter how great a Regulus or whomever you prefer to play. You can NEVER be in two places at once.
In fact I play oak 90% of the time, as such high towers are technially not in my favor, they most certainly are in reg's however...other then that, high towers work great, but we all know the towers range should increase with level investment in towers FP..sadly it doesn't however...which completly skews the game for ranged players...I don't neccisarly have an issue with this.but..some kind of counter for towers/ranged I think would be boon for the game.
If a lone Regulus is downing your towers before level 5, you are doing something very, very wrong. It takes forever to kill a tower as Reg.
Real men code mods and distribute them to disable Towers entirely so whimps can't hide behind them.

Haha, I see what you did there! Anyway, in terms of object placement within a level, such as Towers, we can - those objects are added to the 3D Model that makes up the level rather than being a physical part of the 3D Model itself. You could also, technically, add additional Towers if you were so inclined.

i wasn't aware people played without high towers, whats the point in having towers if they're not going to hurt?
I like high towers to, it lessens the whole "lets put on wand of speed and chase someone through their base till they die near crystal and die a second later to towers/npcs so they get no cash and I get paid for suicide run". Plus it does make the game go a bit more longer unless superior teamwork occurs.

your demigod is the last line of defence not the towers. hes there to defend the towers. if a tower is stopping the enemy demigod then i ask what are you there for?
this setting sounds more like a crutch.
IN the pantheon you do not get to choose, so whatever is the default I's say that is how the game is supposed to be played. That means normal towers are.
And DGs taking out towers are not the problem in any game. If you do not defend your towers or take the other team's towers out fast enough you deserve to be pushed back. Improper defending or attacking will not mask your poor playing. I do not see any real advantage to setting the towers to high in that case. I am with zxzxza.

Towers are there to defend but they should fall against the focus of DGs. You are there to push the other DGs back so your towers remain where they are. You can even fight under the cover of your tower if you need to defend the tower. This way the tower helps in pushing other DGs back because they should run when you have the upper hand like this.
'DGs are there to fight' is such a meak statement because it could mean anything. DGs could very well fight to defend your towers. He could also fight to destroy enemy towers. In no way should the towers ever take over the job of the DG. Defending is the DG job, the tower is just there to guarantee every team some control of the map in the early game. If you play so poorly that your towers fall very quickly then your playstyle may need some rethinking.
Buffing the towers will just mask your poor playing because they last a bit longer, but in the end the real men will defend the base and push back enemy DGs themselves. Good players do not rely on coocked up settings.
