This is the story of the last of the Babylon 5 mod-efforts. It's goal, to prevent another failure, by creating a place to solve our problems collaboratively. Its a port of call, home away from home, for modelers, texturers, programmers and sound engineers.

Installation Guide:
Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:

@koobaltThanks for the splendid work! AS for allowing nonfinished models, I'd rather have it that zvezdochets keeps doing his own addons with the unpainted models so those who want to see it ingame can and we can honestly say we only put polished models into the mod.
@Barn0You mean the model, right? Well, that one is still missing from my lineup. But the next release will include additional (and possibly noncanon) models for the VOrlons made by fileosoft.

Energy mines and destroyers "Ka'tok" - main Narn menace for other races [long-range weapon and defence against fighters].
P.S:TobiWahn, maybe delete defence platform for Centauri and use only blockade mines [with guns] ?
Because centauri military strategy based mainly of attack, not defence as Narn.
Hi all -- Ok, I've downloaded the latest version of the mod, and extracted them to the mod folder of Diplomacy (after finding the mod path in the options section). I get mods for fonts, movie, gameplay and something else (can't remember just now). I enable them, but from there, I don't know how to play the mod. Going back to single player puts me into a standard Sins Diplomacy game.
Could one of you tell me how to get this mod going? Do I need to download the files in the rar file over the actual game files, and not extract them to a mod folder?

After the sotyr directory is in the Diplomacy mod folder ( correct version it must be ) and you activate it in the game, you should now have the races of B5 available instead of the Normal ones.
I am the Vorlon modeler/texturer... i will be back at work after the half of the first week of Augustus...
First planned work, already almost finish is the Vorlon planet killer... this will complete the capital ship range...
Only on cruiser/destroyer is planned ( more brown color )... The original fighter in the serie will become a frigate ( due to high poly count that the complex shape will generate )... Ambassador ship will become a colony one with some attack function... for the fighter, it will be something non cannon in the vorlon style, some type of probe ( have already a pre-model )...
About "work in progress", you need to realise that several of us have a "real life" who have priority on the mod...

Thanks for the reply. I'm playing Diplomacy v. 1.011 and extracted the files to \mods-diplomacy v1.011 . So I should make a folder entitled SOTYR in this mod folder, and then use an unzip program to extract the files there?
Ah. One thing I've found is that the opening movie is corrupt in the rar I downloaded. That might be it. I downloaded it from Filefront. I'll try the other site and maybe the problem will be solved...
Hi all. Sorry for the posts. I was able to get it up and running. Looks very, very promising! I am really impressed with the modder's ability to essentially make the type of game that many of us really want to play. Great work and I'll keep lurking to find out when further installments come out. If this is a pre-alpha, the Beta will be a knock out!
Thanks for the flowers on behalf of the whole team! Could you please confirm (or anybody else deny) if the intro movie is corrupt? In that case I would reupload the rar.
The movie intro was corrupt from my download from Filefront, but from the megaupload.com site, it was fine. It might have been just a bad download on my part from Filefront, but I haven't gone back to check again.
TobiWahn_Kenobi: My version is not corrupt. Used filefront.
Thoumsin: Is it really that important that the fighters have a high poly count? In game you rarely see them up close after all. Keeping them in the general "shape" of the Vorlon fighters may be enough?
General question about the Vorlon planet killer: Has it really no means of self defence? Shouldn't it be equiped with tons of Anti Fighter/ Missile defence weapons and also be able to use its main weapon against capital ships?
For playability reasons I tweaked the ship to accomondate 20 fighterwings, which was also tweaked (all fighters were to slow and had no real value ingame.) so that while still a lumbering behemoth it now had something to defend itself with.
For those who want it I'll post the tweaked files pretty soon since I got the mod-teams blessings.
Changes revolve around the Shadows, Vorlon, EA, fleet size, fighters and general gameplay so far. Just need to make som sort of list of the changes first...
