Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:

And i propose the file/my version of uv, Steiner already star texturing with it, and maybe he still have the tour on uv map i made for him (it's show what parts on uv is on the model) will help him complete it.

I was wondering though if anyone knows if we'll be able to build Babylon Stations? Either as a Trading Station maybe or a Starbase, preferably a starbase though. I'd love to have my own Babylon station.

@KoobaltI know it might sound a bit arrogant, but I believe my version is more correct (except the streching parts) because if you take a look at it you will see that most parts are more correct aligned, and I try to have the areas always in a right angle because it is easier to texture and get straight lines (and seams) right. And I think my Version allows for more details. Nevertheless, it is ultimately SteinerX's choice.
OK, here is my new version. Please take a look at it fileosoft and tell me if thats better (Its even more optimised)

@KoobaltLove your G'Quan Cruiser, wonderful model. One thing regarding your segmentation: you keep way too much distance between the parts. If you rearrange them properly you will get up to 40% more surface for the texture. The way it is now more than half the texture won't be used.
Sorry Tobi, but i have not more the time for check... Since Sunday, due to snow and freezing, i work two time 6 hours by day... if you add traject from home to work and back, eat, etc... i have only 2 time 4 hours free... and i wish to use them for sleep !!!
If you have correct the strech problem, and since your optimisation was already better that mine... the best is too choose your version... the more surface Steiner have for paint, the best will be the final result !!!

Segmenting is cutting piece of your model in a way who allow you to flatten the piece on a surface... UV optimisation is arrange the piece from the segmenting in a way that the more surface possible is used...
I think that you mix up segmenting and UV optimisation...

@FileosoftThanks, yes, I meant uv optimisation (or better uv layout), not segmentationAs for your time, please use it for sleep. Sleep is much more important than anything else (so I will go to sleep now as well, already 4am over here)

if you think the segmentation is god, i will opt more the UV.
and do you want me make some parts in another scale, because now all parts is in the same scale, and some parts is already width as UV map, so if you want me to make better opt i need to use different scale for smaller parts.
The biggest part is the main body of ship, so i can't cut it to smaller parts because the texturing job will be a nightmare then.

Yes, I think the segmentation is good. As for the scale, I mstly try to se the same scale on the model and make some parts that need additional detail bigger. then, when I rearrange the parts to fit on the texture I scale them to leave as little unused space on the texture as possible.
Zvezdochets haven't heard from you in awhile ... how do you like your model Hermes with Tobi's tex?
@SteinerXCan you make use of the Explorer now? I put the model in different formats up, but I can't make you an mtl. If you need it, better ask Koobalt or fileosoft.

and the texture name should be Explorer-cl_New.tga (or edit the .mtl with notepad and edit the name)

Thanks Koobalt. And for whose fault, I don't know anymore, but I suspect I was at fault. Ccould happen again, but that should be a minor nuissance. On the Hermes I corrected the UV numerous times while texturing.

I have the "Harpoon - Commander's Edition"... and several previous version... do you know that these game is more that 20 year old... ugly graphic but the best strategic challenge that i have find in a game... my first version was the military version for the old mac with black/white screen !!
Interesting, my version "Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare" with last patches. About this game i know only week ago. A agree - this game very realistic strategic battle simulator. I send request on forum about Database Editor [wanted to add few new ships and aircraft - missing in db2000v10_0_0] but they release patch 3.10 and not send me his.
And i be much surprised, when heard about "Red Storm" T.Clancy and this game.
@koobaltYour new UV is better. I'm working on optimising it a little. I will send you the file once it's finished. I'm down to 11130 triangles.
