This is the story of the last of the Babylon 5 mod-efforts. It's goal, to prevent another failure, by creating a place to solve our problems collaboratively. Its a port of call, home away from home, for modelers, texturers, programmers and sound engineers.

Installation Guide:
Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:

The Minbari Sharlin model is really outstanding.
Keep on the good work, this mod seem very promising !
The sharlin is a WIP... but it will be good when finish...
The good work is the team work... several people working together on a single model... don't worry about any release time frame but more about quality...
I am from the 7DS team but it is really a pleasure to make some work for the B5 mod... Tobi is not a easy "master" but it push us to give the best of ourself... and he is a very good leader who help his team to really collaborate together... can seem ridiculous but i am the guy who have made the flap on the truster of the starfury or make a 50% poly reduction on one piece of the capitalship shipyard... in fact, no one model is the work of one guy... everybody participate with their own speciality... B5 mod is the work of a real team and the difference can be see in game !!!
I am really honored to make some work for them...

@HawkWallHonestly don't know. Probably as long and as many as the originals (from sins) and in a babylon 5 mood. You can do them? This would be more than wonderful!

Tobi, Steiner, I was checking out ModDB and some guy has posted a Babylon 5 mod for Sins there. What's bad about it is that he is using images of your models to represent his mod. He also seems to think this mod is dead, and he seems to be trying to take it over. You might want to try and correct him. I have a link to "his" mod for you guys.

I was contacted by this person before and he wanted to market this mod himself which I declined. He still set up this page (thanks for the notice) and I now have contacted modDB staff to take down his site.
I also wrote the following letter to him
"I contacted modDB to take down your site. I take it as an insult that you opened that page without my consent and urge you to take action before modDB does. This mod is not dead, I'm leading it to the best of my abilities and am proud of my team. Make you own mod if you wish but leave ours alone.
.... I do not need people feeding off the work of others in the way you seem to do."
If any of you fellows supporting me so far disagree please speak out loud. But I don't like to be ripped off by someone who has done nothing and wants to reap the mojo that we work so hard for.
As for the next release, working hard on it and - behold - thanks to HawkWall we will have our first musical piece in it (need to convert it to ogg first though. Anyone does know a good converter?)
Audacity is a good converter and sound editor. And its free.
As of now, the offending Site was removed. I was kindly asked to take over the profile by the modDB staff members. I have refused for now but stated that we would establish presence as soon as we leave PreAlpha (I would want one faction about 90% complete before entering Alpha phase and another faction about 50% complete)
@SteinerXIf you would want to do this at that point I would be most thankful as I think you have done a great job at establishing a web presence. Please don't feel obliged to do so if you don't want to because you have already done so much for us that I can hardly ask for more. If you want to establish a presence on modDB as of now (and don't wait till we leave preAlpha) than thats OK with me too. I would only ask you to not post the current release but instead wait for the next one (so that we can at least show something off thats working and having some meat)
Thanks to all of you! And now I have to get the work on the Hermes finished so I can incorporate Hawkwalls music, make a credits video and pack up the release! Still so much to do but I see a light on the end of the tunnel of v0.35 now.

I also think it would be best if all the races would have the same music themes and not different for each faction.
And also i have been wondering if the Shadows are going to be a playable side and/or like the "pirates" in the original sins?
Or will the pirates be present in this mod anymore? Raiders perhaps? Drakh?

As for Shadows, they will be a playable race, though I plan on having completely different game mechanics for them. I just hope I can get it to work with the AI sometimes. As for pirates, that will be raiders. (and as I suggested before, perhaps something even more brutal and sinister if the threatlevel is too big)

Really a good choice... Raiders was a paint in the a$$ for the people of B5... their hit and run method will be a challenge...
About Ai, it work good with pirate... attack and bounty... not problem with colonization... in fact, a lot of Ai rules don't apply to pirates, it easy the coding...

Great work till now guies.But I have one question...how you want to manage it with other races like Narn,Zentauri,Drasi....
Whee! Just got entrenchment and im all set up for the pre alpha!
With time, they all will be in the B5 mod... time is the problem... the team is very good but very little... so time is needed...
By the way, if i good remember, some models for Narm and centauri are already made...
A other thing... Tobi have choose for quality in place of speed... Being a modeler, he request from us model without any error, where any triangle is not wasted... ask a lot more time but the on screen result is great without adding a lot of lag to the game...
And i respect Tobi choice... by the way, don't forget that all the previous release are pre-alpha... we are at the very beginning of the mod !!!
