This is the story of the last of the Babylon 5 mod-efforts. It's goal, to prevent another failure, by creating a place to solve our problems collaboratively. Its a port of call, home away from home, for modelers, texturers, programmers and sound engineers.

Installation Guide:
Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:

Looks nice, though I'd still rather save up for a resin printer (and I had to invest in a replacement for my AV Receiver because its kaputt, so I have to save up again), as they are much more friendly to my lung

We'll hold down the for you all. TobiWahn, I can confirm that resin is much easier to work with in general. I'm familiar with the industrial scale ones at my workplace and they are very easy to maintain (though more expensive when something breaks).
Yep. I really would like to have the Form1. If they would only lower the price of the resin and the printer a little...
I can expect the printer costs to slowly drop down as much of the personal 3d printer market still does not use resin (though it's slowly shifting this way).
The resin itself I'm not so sure. There have been a few more suppliers crop up in the market place but they have more or less matched the market demand so the prices there are unfortunately fairly stable. [e digicons]:'([/e]
I think so too. It will take a few years for demand (and quality of the print) to reach a level where resin becomes cheap enough to print lots of stuff from it. I still prefer it to extrusion printing. I wish I'd own one, printing my own Babylon 5 3D models for tabletop play
Oh, and I'm currently working on the Corvan Scout. Geopard sent me a low poly model from another modeler who would have given it to us, but I wasn't satisfied with the model (it was fine then and for its intended purpose, but I feel we can do better for sins - hopefully, perhaps my creation is much worse ), so I'm redoing it from scratch.
I'm having problems running this mod on Diplomacy 1.37 (got it with Trinity), some of the ship models for the Earth Alliance are showing up either as black cubes or as vanilla Sins models. The Delphi Scout is a black cube and the Asimov colony ship is a vanilla model. Help?
Means the mesh/model probably isn't in game yet or is missing.
EternalRequiem is correct. The cubes (which in the next release will have faction colors) are place holders for missing models. SotRY is still in alpha build not yet having reached the 50% mark. The team is currently working on a Rebellion compliant upgrade but real life has priority so the going is slow.
Oh. I didn't know it was still an Alpha release. I kept thinking that I was installing the mod wrong.
P.S I just started watching Babylon 5 via Netflix, I'm currently on Season 3 Disc 2.
Thanks Darvroth. Yes, we have not even reached 0.5, so missing content is to be expected. As Darvroth said, real life has priority, but I'm working on yet another model (Corvan Scout), expected to be in the dev build the weekend after the oming one.
3 is the best of them all (IMHO)

I'm still unpacking boxes but ran across this discussion point in the Sins of the Fallen Angels mod forum which you are moonlighting in. Could you adapt a similar approach to the asteroid colonization of the younger races? If asteroids were available earlier in the tech tree it would help with expansion especially for the Minbari and with the unimproved penalty would serve as an economic brake. Thoughts?

Have had lots of work to do lately. I'm now finishing the Corvan Scout (this week), then on to the next model. I'm not sure how much time Darvroth had, but I suspect we will hear from him shortly. All in all, summer is out and work has to resume.

It would be nice if the Centauri ships had a bit of a buff (so that they were superior to early/mid level EA & Narn) but were then hindered a little by requiring a few colonization techs, say tier 1 to 3 for the more hostile environments - I couldn't see Centauri Nobility wanting to scratch out a living on volcanic or ice worlds.
Minbari do seem to need some help in expanding, so allowing them to colonize asteroids early on sounds like a sensible step. I'd keep the ice colonization tech a tier 1, but maybe move Star Bourne down from tier-3 to 2. I'd leave the colonization of volcanics where it is.
Just a reminder - all DLC planets can be colonized with out research at the moment.
Adjusting tech tier placement is easy enough but can only be accomplished if the planet development for that race is adjustable such that the colonization penalty for asteroids can be set for each race as a mechanism to retard fleet development but not necessarily colonialization which is necessary for resource gathering. Later techs in the tech tree can further reduce the (under)-development penalty by which point the empires are more or less established. Thoughts?
At the current rate I have several more weeks of unpacking before reaching some sort of equilibrium. For now it is a victory to shrink the stacks of boxes by a vertical column as they are stacked 3-4 high...
Only way I see this working is via techs screwing with population counts, and sending them into the negatives if possible.
