This is the story of the last of the Babylon 5 mod-efforts. It's goal, to prevent another failure, by creating a place to solve our problems collaboratively. Its a port of call, home away from home, for modelers, texturers, programmers and sound engineers.

Release 0.54.1 Full Download for Rebellion 1.95+& Patch 0.54.2
NEW - Balvarin Carrier and Minor Factions fix!
Installation Guide:
Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:
TXT2SinsArchiveVersion 194Version 0enabledModNameCount 2enabledModName "SotyrRemastered"enabledModName "SinsRemastered-v0.95b"

Anybody else getting a mini dump when you enable the mod from the Game Front link?
The Megauplaod link is only 23.47 MB also labelled Sotyr_041.rar.
Merry Christmas btw.
Hotfix works!! Best pressy ever!
Megaupload Link corrected, Hotfix posted!
TY.
What is planned for 0.43 besides continued tech tree improvements?
Darvroth
Am I only able to replenish my ships' antimatter as the Earth Alliance with a structure unlocked by a Tier 5 research?
Don't know yet!
Seems like it. Will check that!
Hi and merry christmas...
I have problems too,but with both Hotfix and Gamefront.I'm not verry shure how to install all these stuff again because my pc crahed and all datas where lostit and when I try it it ends with a minidump or when I chouse the version before (0,41)nothing changes in the game. (Diplomacy v1.34)
Download 0.4201 and unzip the b5-sotyr folder into the Diplomacy 1.34 Mod folder, in Win7 something like
C:\Users\"USER NAME"\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Diplomacy v1.34
Create the folder if it does not exist. then start diplomacy, enable the mod in the options and start a new game.
I don't now whats wrong its currently not working.
Did you put the content of the hot fix into the game info folder of PreAlpha 0.4201 ? I have it working atm with a few bugs nothing major though.
Thank you for this mod it is epic
That's probably the reason. You can't just unzip the hotfix into the same place as the mod itself. The hotfix has to go into the b5-sotyr\gameinfo folder. I really hate the way Ironclad set up the mod folders for SoaSE.
The mod should be unzipped to:
c:\users\yournamehere\appdata\local\ironclad games\sins of a solar empire\mods-diplomacy v1.34
The hotfix should be unzipped to:
c:\users\yournamehere\appdata\local\ironclad games\sins of a solar empire\mods-diplomacy v1.34\ b5-sotyr\gameinfo
Hm sry its currently not working.
I tell you what I have done. (I'm yousing win xp)
1. download v1.34 for Diplomacy
2.downloading mod v. 0.4201 and 0.42 Hotfix
3.Than I was going to unzip v0.4201 into "C:\Dokuments and Settings\my username\local settings\task datas\Ironclad Games\SoasE\Mods-Diplomacy v1.34"
4.unzipping Hotfix and put the four files into the gameinfo folder
and I was testing an other way "C:\Dokuments and Settings\allusers\task datas\Ironclad Games\SoasE\Mods-Diplomacy v1.34"
I'm shure that I was set all hidden folders to open
What kind off system are you using because you had a different path like I have??
I'm having the same issue. I've installed the hotfix into the gameinfo folder and the dump still occurs. Is it because I'm playing on steam? I'm using the trinity Sins.
First up, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you fantastic modders responsible - and big cheers to TobiWahn for the present! Thank y'all so much for all the hard and unpaid work you've put into this.
I am, however, also having a few problems getting the mod working.
Created a mods-diplomacy v1.34 in the same Windows 7 user directory in which my v1.32 mods previously worked. Unzipped the main file into there then unzipped the hotfix into the gameinfo subdirectory. I get a minidump when I click 'Apply Changes' on the activate mod screen.
Others seem to have this working, however, so you guys should sit back and crack open a beer for the holiday season. If you get a chance to look into it in the New Year, fantastic.
All the best!

Try to manually edit your EnabledMods.txt file outside of Sins. That is change this line: enabledModName "*Folder Name here*"
This will get the mod loaded when you start Sins.
Sorry guys, had messed up the entity.manifest
Here's the hotfix, file needs to be put right into the b5-sotyr directory
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2328830/04202Hotfix.rar
edit: Those with 0.42 and hotfix 0.4201 should not need this, only 0.4201. I will upload a full 0.4202 soon.
ah ok now it works, nice, very nice
..but there are a few bucks. Some ships, maybee new ones build as a cube and some like old ones. The research tree...the innerboxes are white ( I don't now if thats so at the moment)
0.4202 Full now available
Guys, that's fantastic, thanks so very much It's working a treat now
Well, it's gone as far as the loading screen - I'm going to count that as a success
The new update is fantastic, great work. And thenk you for the help. The new Centaury ships are very nice
I would like to report you some bucks.
-Some of the new ships looks like a cube (for example the EA Asimov) or they are loking like the original SoasE ships.
-The researchtrees (boxes) looking only white and in the Narn fleettree is a mistake in the overlap part, no research possible
-Shadows and Vorlons are not playable (no ships and stations and its not buildable) and I become a minidump.
-Is that right that the player is not able to build stations around vulcanic planets?
Little tip if you want to build on volcanic planets activate auto place stucture.
Intended, needed to minimize the error messages in the Dev exe. Asimov was never to be included in this release. I've not heard from SteinerX in ages and will do the Asimov texture myself for the next release. Hope SteinerX is well!!
White boxes are intentional (no icons yet)
Shifted boxes with fleet research is known and will be remedied with the next release (I hope)
Will look into this. I haven't had time to test the vorlon/shadow research and player entities so I just included them. There seems to be a problem with them so I recomment leaving them alone till a later release.
What is meant by this? Starbases? Trade stations? Colonising?
-sry my mistake but some ships are boxes
-Colonising and the miningstations are working I cant build other stations because the orbit radiation is to smal
Since Tobi is from Austria and you are from Germany... both country having German as national language... it will be more easy that you explain your problem to Tobi in German language... sure that he will understand better what you mean...
But I do hate conversations in german! I do love the english tongue much more.
Though I will accept this in a pm, but no german talk on my forum!
As for the Orbit radius, I didn't know that one of us had changed it, I will look at this in the coming days (or week(s))
Hi, I very recently discovered this mod and I'm excited to play it. However, whenever I seem to download one most if not all of the items are missing (i.e non-changed tec ships etc.) For someone just entering this mod in what and in what order should I download the versions so I can be up to date. Thanks.
