Once again I spent a great amount of time playing Dawn of Discovery. I finished the campaign, which was quite enjoyable, and now I have moved on to the scenarios. These are challenging, and take some time to complete, but it’s well worth the time spent.
I had to squeeze in some time with East India Company. This is a complex and challenging game, but very rewarding once you get the hang of it. The visuals are simply beautiful, and puts you right into the ship as if you are a real captain yourself.
So that was most of my gaming weekend. What did you play?
Aion beta.
I got a grand total of 11hours sleep over the weekend
X.X
Paying for it now by the fact i've gotten into work at about 10:30 every day this week
I purchased and downloaded the Lords of the Realm: Royal Edition (for just $5.99!) from Good Old Games on Friday night. (I already have the disc for vanilla LotR2, but it won't let me install for some reason.) Gods, I forgot just how much fun that game can be -- I must've spent around 15-20 hours playing it this past weekend, and it's been a looooong time since I've played a game that intensely.
I've never played the game, but the music rules
Chess, of course.
But I've suddenly become addicted to X3: Terran Conflict.
I'm pretty happy with myself since capturing my first craft, a Hermes freighter (left). Now I just need to save enough money to move on up from my starter Elite (right)
I had sex in Oblivion.
I also karate kicked a rat in the snout, sliced and diced a few bandits with my Ayleid two handed sword, and overwhelmed (barely) a bunch of summoned Clannfear Runts with my summoned skeleton army (my power is greater than your power!). Oh, and I flew around on my dragon mount.
I love mods. It's just... crazy.
I played a game named "Real Life" and had a date with a girl I'm now together with. We didn't have sex in Oblivion, but it felt like in paradise.
Yeah I heard about that game, they say that the graphics are really good, but the quests often suck.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment. I'm loving this franchise! Can't wait for the next installment.
Lacko111, as far as I know, X3 TC has *very* good ship graphics (acturally some of the best and most detailed ship textures I've seen around), asteroids are also very detailed, but the planets are background only and you can't fly close to them. Pretty to look at, but can't touch (down).
I've become addicted to supreme commander (I know, late late, but I usually don't like those games so I skip them at first).
I'm gonna buy the game I think Finally a game with a single player campaign I can actually handle.
It was more of The Witcher, more of Crusader Kings Complete, a little Spectromancer and a little bit of Sacrifice.
The only game I played this past weekend was Kitten Sanctuary
I'm enjoying my Shockwave Unlimited membership.Played online games at the weekend.
Searched for new games for my collection on GOG and Impulse.
I've been reading a lot about this'Kitten Sanctuary' from the Stardock employees.I want to believe it's actually addictive and fun, however some part of my brain is telling me "Don't do it - it's a marketing ploy - don't do it".
It's awesome, get the demo.
Once again it's not on Impulse. Is this a developer enforced rule or does Stardock simply not care about demos?
I tried Kitten Sanctuary. And no, I don't like it.
This weekend has been lots of Trine.
played a bit of Warzone 2100, an open-source ground-base RTS WITH IN-GAME UNIT DESIGN (choose from different hulls, propulsion, and weapons/support systems, w00t!!).
It's free for download and I can verify it works w/ Vista 64-bit.
