Already pre-orderd as well as it sounds truly fantastic and even has a story mode planed god i cant wait now.
Game reminds me a bit of Age of wonder series, are you borrowing ideas from it or will it be nothing like that series?

I think it is going to very much be its own game, but will have, hopefully, some ideas taken from Age of Wonders, Master of Magic, and tactical combat is said to be somewhat like X-COM with magic.
You are so lucky to just be finding out about it just a few weeks from beta starting - some of us have been anticipating and dying for this game for MONTHS!

YEARS, actually ... (or so it feels anyway)! But soon ...
Actually it has been years for me also - ever since Ifound some web page that was a gathering place for people that wanted MoM2 and there were rumors that SD was going to be making a fantasy TBS and were trying to get the rights to MoM - in fact that was how I got introduced to StarDock, and I order GalCiv2 to see how good of games DtarDock made lol - no, I am not joking.
So yeah. Years.
When I first discovered Elemental was under development I emailed my suggestions to Stardock during the middle of August in 2007... so it has been years for me. I also received a response for my email as well.
P.S. ~ Okay in 2 1/2 weeks it'll officially be years as in plural.
