World of Warcraft: Uther Guild

Join us..

Okay, we have two people now on the Uther server (Pacific Coast time zone).  We chose pacific coast because it is 3 hours ahead of where we are (eastern) so more day-light playing in the game.

My character's name is Draginol. Tandis is another player on there.

So for starters, just look for me on there and add me to your friends list.

Once we have enough people, ew can form a guild.

I'd join, but I PvP, and this is a PvE server. 8-(

Currently, my clan is on Shattered Hand, my name there is "Padlock".

If anyone joins that server, type /join dhl to join our chat group.

what is a "normal" server? I was thinking that Uther was a "normal" server....although, I have no idea whatsoever what that term means....

The lag is definitely a serious problem there.   I haven't been able to play today.

There was a LOT of lag on the Pacific time zone servers during the open beta. I wonder if a lot of people have the same idea about extra daylight.

i played all day (from about 7:30 am - 2:30 am (Eastern Time) on the Uther server, and had not one problem with lag.....but, could just be the time of day I was playing (?)

I didn't have any lag yesterday playing on Dalaran, but today it's one of the servers that is down for maintenance. And I guess that all their servers are having problems today. I managed to get on to Uther long enough to create a human priestess named Callahanne. Doesn't look like I'll be able to play at all tonight though.

This server is lagged? Damn. I thought they said that would be fixed by launch. The beta lagged because - (insert pr excuses here) - but that was supposed to be fixed. doh.
Well well.. It will probbaly only be for the first few levels, as people start moving out of the newbie zones into different areas and instanced dungeons.
enjoy the game, i did... (in the beta)

Is it too late to join? I have never played an on-line game - is this a good one to start with? Can you buy it on-line?

It turns out my son uses the Central Time zone servers, less lag, no queues, and so far, he says, the server hasn't crashed except for routine maintainence.

I really like something to do with Dragons....but, eh, that is just me.....

as for buying the game...you have to buy it at a store (or, at ebgames.com or somewhere like that....). It seems to be kinda rare now though....at least, by my ovservations....sold out all over. I am wanting to buy a Collector's Edition sometime....but they are sold out everywhere too.

As for the question, is this a good one to start with? I would say yes....it is easy to get in to....just a great, great game, In my opinion

Bought it at Best Buy last night - they had tons of copies. Installed and started playing - next thing I know it is 1am

I am a human Paladin. Any tips for someone just starting out?
