I hate having a game that has lost its multiplayer base. It's a pain then to find a friend who wants to play, so I want to organize a list of what ames you guys play. I figure these forums don't have too many jerks, so it'd be a good place.
My games:
RTS:
Shooter:
Other:
Lineage2, going on five years now and still loving it. Finding new things to do in it almost every day.
Guild Wars
Men of War
FPS:
Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood
Arcade:
Burnout - Paradise City
4X: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (aka SMAC/X)
I just started my first ever multiplayer (by e-mail). Not difficult to find players on the dedicated forums.
Since I prefer to play with people I can chat to afterwards and keep contact with on forums or IM I tend to not play MP so much....got this resistance to MP since people online do everything to win and I get put off by that feeling....
I want to start with the following though:
FPS
RTS
TBS
Active:
Spectromancer (online strategy card game) - my primary game at that moment
CS: Source (FPS) - some shooting for fun
World of Warcraft (arena PvP / MMORPG) - soon i will start to play it once again with friends
Recent games:
Massive Assault Network 2 (TBS/Wargame) - classical wargame online. A little too slow for my style, but a really good game with a good multiplayer balance, ladder and tournaments.
Quake Live (FPS) - repackaged Quake 3 is nice indeed, but where are Russian servers? It's kinda hard too shoot with a railgun with a 65+ ping, i still hit 50%+ of the time but it's kinda sad anyway.
Future games:
Starcraft 2 (RTS) - i played Starcraft, soon it will be time to "return and experience the adventure once again" (c) Blizzard, Warcraft 3 promotion video. The best competitive RTS, first professional cybersport game, now with the better interface and a better online lobby / ladder. Count me in
You're supposed to do everything tournament-legal if you want to win
Red Alert 3
CoH + Opposing fronts
and having quite some fun for now with Battlefield Heroes
Yeah I know. And I actually want the A.I to be that good. And I know that people should play to the best of their ability.
It's just the feeling that puts me of :/
Found a match between us. Quake Live
So should we exchange IM or just set a time? Russian time is +2 hours before me (18:53 here now).
Free the whole summer so got loads of time to play.
