Just as quickly as she departed the ANZAC Republic, Cotal rejoined after admitting her defection was actually an experiment to boost points for the ANZACs. Her return has prompted the ANZAC Republic to return to fourth place overall in the Metaverse standings, just behind the Mid-Western Confederation. Now that the ANZACs are mostly back to normal, they seem committed to moving up. They should beware of the European Alliance, however. The Euros haven't went away after the ANZACs dispatched them and have recently begun a propaganda campaign against the ANZACs. One Euro was quoted as saying "Shouldn't we go and kill those Ausies already? It's not like they are a real country or anyway. Full of criminals and what not." This began an exchange of diplomatic unpleasantries which the Metaverse Review will not publish. Needless to say, there is still some animosity between these two combatants.

The Mid-Western Confederation celebrated the arrival of a Top 10 overlord, Mauler28. This addition opened their lead over the ANZAC Republic to 479,603 points. It also moved them ever so closer to the pirates of G.R.O.S.S. The farmers are only 214,489 points behind the bucanneers in their quest for second place. This could be a very interesting battle to watch!

The PanGaea Cooperative Empire gained a new recruit and have moved to 20th place. They are now within striking distance of the Kingdom of Aldar. Without help, the Kingdom of Aldar is in danger of losing. Babylonia has been sneaking up the charts and now resides at the number 12 spot, just 13,492 points behind the New Texas Republic.

The Jedi Republic are now just 39,889 points away from one million points! The Jedi plan on a celebration party that could rival the victory celebration at Endor! The best part is there should be no Ewoks at the celebration. Jedi knights have been warned not to use their lightsabers while drinking, as this can be unusually dangerous to themselves and others. The Jedi will probably wind up showing off their lightsaber skills anyway, as an anonymous Knight was quoted as saying "Chicks dig the lightsaber. After a few brewski's, nothing gets a lady hotter than to slice a Torian in half with your blade!" All Torians are advised to stay away from this celebration party!
