Im using an Internet Browser to read the forums, because i cant access the modding forum from Impulse.

Even if somebody reports the OP, what has yngmon actually done?? He hasn't breached Stardock rules regarding behaviour, abuse, name calling, etc.
Being a bit wacky does not qualify him for banning or his post(s) to be locked/removed.
Now the pertinent question here is... what is yngmon smoking?

spamming may not be against the rules, but its annoying and contrary to forum ettiquete. there was another spammer here about a month ago... i forget his name, but people were upset about his threads, so they got locked... for some reason, this one hasnt, and i think its about time
now, when i say this is all non-sensical crap, its not because im some hardliner who cant understand philosophical stuff, but rather, because this is actually all non-sensical crap! there is no deeper meaning other than if you pull something out of thin air, which can be done with anything! but cutting and pasting stuff from wikipedia and the greater internet is not wisdom, its spamming, plain and simple

and you have never been upset at a spam post? i suppose i cant proove it to you, but i am all for giving people a voice. however, i dont think that ability should be abused. spamming is abusing that voice and the forum in which it is heard.
its like, if i posted a thread about every time i had sex and described it in explicit detail and whatnot, do you think people would appreciate it? its an extreme but still valid. what if i started going to wikipedia, smashing my keyboard, then clicking the first "did you mean...?" link, then just copy/pasting the entire page into a forum? would you appreciate and respect that?
i love debating philosophy etc, honestly, i do, but this is not that, this is spam in the purest sense. Why? because the OP posts whatever blather he wants, and its only the most (bored?) complacent users that reply with any sincerity. and its not to what he's posting, but to whatever meaning you percieve to be within his verbal (textual?) diahorrea. nothing against you guys who are taking it seriously, but really... this post is alot of meaningless fluff and, yes, SPAM!
i did, in fact, start replying to the actual content of the thread.... then it went pear shaped with the pure copy/pastes from wikipedia whatnot, and i lost all respect for the OP, because i realised (with some sadness and more than a bit of irritation) that he was just some random spammer.
AND! its not like i can even ignore it. Its saved in the My Replies section, and to the best of my knowledge, you cant delete entries from there, so i have to look at it every time, and (yes, i know its illogical, but still) i just get irritated by it, and by the fact that the slather continues. So, rather than get upset and take it out on people who dont deserve it, i figured id do the one thing that isnt often done in todays society, and take out my frustration on the thing that is CAUSING my frustration. Nifty huh?
basically, its Spam, pure and simple. if you can, show me how its not. until then, get off your bloody high horse, thinking you are all fantastic because you find meaning in random text.

The point is, if this thread were a problem, it would be gone already. Clicking the report button for no reason is more likely to get you noticed by the mods than anything.
Not on one! Just pointing out that everyone has the right to post/express themselves by whatever means they see fit on Stardock forums, providing they remain within the code of conduct.
You also have the right to express yourself, within reason, and also I defend your right to say your piece. However, even when a thread is in your "My Replies" list, you do not have to click on and/or read it. When a thread is ignored over time it will descend down that list and eventually disappear over the page, so it need not be a problem unless you want it to be.
In other words, if you're not interested in watching women toke off their clothes, just walk on by the strip club.
If you want a philosophical debate then start one, don't get all huffity puffity because this isn't what you were looking for.
yngmon's three threads could be mistaken for spam, but he isn't harming anybody.
He's just being odd and since we're all on a forum produced by a company that makes a game about exiled elitist woman with psychic powers fighting empirical aliens in space i think it wouldn't be that hard to call us weird either.
