I just felt that I should be the first one to tell you.
She was in Logan's Run too (but i guess, some of the jerks here dunno anything or care about Sci-Fi films either) and superb copycat blondes & sparkly blue eyes like that puzzled men a few times JUST because of her; ya know -- Suzanne Summers, Barbara Eden, Farrah Fawcett, etc.
Logan's run is a classic.......LOGAN 5 please...identify +_+!
My favourite line in any movie +_+! It's hilarious!
On an unrelated note, like everything else here, Facebook is more popular than jesus!
Red is facebook, blue is jesus
MJ isn't dead.
Elvis picked him up in their spaceship.
ROFL.
anyway, noone really cares. i respect him though for his musical talents.
I forgot about that movie, its a sci-fi classic.
we will all be dead any way. have a good day/night
MJ is obviously a vampire lord that can dance like captain insano.
Yeah, I wonder how many people will come up within the next 50 years telling folks that they saw Jackson in the supermarket or that their hubby sweated out an outline that looks like him.
Too bad Jackson had to sell the Neverland Ranch. It might have turned into a new Graceland.
Mhmmm... Jenny Agutter... yummy...
But back on subject!
Michael Jackson! Rest in peace! Well deserved! Now he'll be able to do Thriller without raising the undead since they'll already be with him +_+
I really needed that laugh, thanks.
Come to think of it & Come Sail Away by Styx -- right now in WinAmp.
Music lost another Beethoven but we'll keep singing & dancing.
Don't care because of what he is done, now if he hadn't done what he did, at least people would remember him as a music star
I agree. He was a nice guy, before he went off the deep end. Now, all I can say is: you can let your little brother play in the park again.
Mooster & Scoutdog,
Prove to us all that it wasn't at least an attempt at extortion, twice.
I knew this kind of an attitude would creep up once this man died -- he simply can't defend himself anymore and that tells me how **some** people yap their stupid mouths like vultures waiting to ruin the dead.
You should be ashamed of even bringing that up now or later. I have absolutely no respect for cowards who judge an individual on hearsay and rumors without knowing the facts or truth.
That mother (it's not even worth mentioning the name or circumstances, btw) sucked him dry for an out of court settlement. She had MUCH better lawyers & detective work done and actually ended up spending all of that money.
You call that Law, i suppose. I call that theft unless proven otherwise.
Sadly, the whole circus of crooks took Neverland from kids too but not for the right reasons.
Nothing unsusual, just the regular LA criminality crap of California & the American dream wasted on all the President's men seeking to exploit the weak & vulnerable.
Got your attention?
There is right now a huge movement in the HONEST populations of this planet to reach record sales of this guy's songs, again. That should leave most of the idiots speechless, right?
He breaks even cuz he earned it.
He leaves an estate to three children; and they'll simply dilapidate the Beatles repertory to cover all expenses or more. Cuz, their father was very smart but not careful enough with SOME strangers who abused him.
Janet will make sure everything is in order for her brother. Wanna bet?
Any chance of getting this thread locked sooner rather than later?
I like reading people argue politics and religion, even when they do it badly. But this dancing on someone's grave stuff is just creepy. And I'm not any sort of MJ fan or defender--The Jeffersons is one of my favorite South Park episodes.
Because you know the irrefutable truth and facts?
Hypocrisy at its finest.
Nobody but those directly involved know the truth.
"Once" he died? It's probably a fifty fifty split between the people that are sure he's a child molester and the die hard defenders, croaking just gives people an excuse to mention it again.
Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. Since he never actually matured mentally, I really doubt it. That's the one thing he's got in his favor, he was probably too fucked up in the head to be a predator. He did leave himself wide open for the accusations though.
Oh, but i DO agree with this as proven by my revolt against the rapacious comments made BY cowards whom also do not know facts & truth.
Lemme be clear about this; Michael Jackson was a musical genius, an extraordinary dancer, an extremely talented singer and a workaholic (that Monday evening Victory tour show of the Jackson 5 under red lasers PROVED it to my sister & i) and i'll remember him for what he was (at that particular time of his life and beyond) but not for what anyone thought & think of him or even speculated AFTER his death.
GWSwicord, locking this thread?
Let's just wait for their regrets and admission of guilt, okay.
he kinda scared me
I'm just really uncomfortable about trash-talking someone whose funeral still isn't quite planned, even though I trash-talked him severely when he was alive. I'm a lapsed anarchist, and this seems to be one of the few situations where I think voluntary restraint of free speech is a good thing. Maybe that's because I've lost a couple of very close people recently, or maybe it's just because I've watched enough deaths affect people around me, I dunno. Plus, I'm tired to death of famous people...
I hear he will be reycled into shopping bags. That way he will still be white, plastic, and a minace to small children.
dont blam me for that one. i got it from a 98.9 the rock.
Sad.
The spelling especially. Can't spell menace, or recycled, don't or blame? And the first letter in a sentence (and all the time when referring to yourself as 'I') should be capitalized.
What do they teach these youngsters in school these days?!
Both your subject matter and your mistakes just shows how ignorant you really are - in so many ways.
Brace up, shut up, and learn the actual facts before you speak. Or simply don't speak at all, and just listen for a while.
Who knows... You may actually learn a thing or two.
Michael Jackson was a star and well-known figure, and it's sad that he died and I'm sorry for his family.
But for God's sake, did the House of Representatives honestly need to give him a minute of silence? Did we honestly need to watch 24 hour news coverage on every single major news network? Did NPR honestly need to fill up their morning program with reports from around the world about reaction to his death? Honestly? Seriously? Is that all actually necessary?
Being moderately talented in a field shouldn't be the sole definition of a person. I guess Josef Fritzl was a competent electrical engineer - it doesn't mean that I stoop to wanton fandom defending him because I like to collect assorted lengths of wire.
