If you drop an item that increases total mana, it lowers your mana max and subtracts the mana it added from your pool. Mana, however, cannot go below zero. This allows someone to run their mana dry, drop their plenor crown, and pick it back up gaining 1500 mana instantly. Would you all consider this an exploit? If so, it should probably be fixed.
it maybe a exploit but if u do this with a enermy near by he could steal ur item
Now this explains how a few erebus could just bite me 10x in start of the game. He vanished off my screen(fog of war) came back with a bit more hps and he just kept biting me and so forth. And quite a few of those were in top 25 on dark side.
How about we let mana go into the negative numbers? However, you shouldn't be able to *cast* when mana is below zero. That would solve this problem.

This was fixed already. The thread should be closed, or at least allowed to die a peaceful death.
something that may work to fix this problem is having the game keep the same % of your health if you drop an item. like say you have 3,000 max health with 2,500 health left(83.33333% of your max health) and you drop banded armor(400 health increase), making it so you had 2,600 health. So, the game mechanics should be changed so that you have 83.33333% of 2600(2116.6658 health).

Yes, you can't get Mana now anymore by doing this. However, dropping a Mana item will make you lose more Mana than it should now.
