The game is like eating asphalt while watching paint dry for 12 hours after getting hit by a train.
Ouch. There isn't much worse than buying a game and then realizing that you have zero interest in it.
It crashes all the time, the gameplay is horrible, the damn thing automatically saves every 3 minutes (and you can't turn auto-save off), there is no automatic patching online (and they removed the patches from the official website, and fansites don't have the patches, so you can't play with anyone online), the editor is fucked up, if you minimize (accidentally or purposely) it crashes, the scroll speed is automatically reset to really fast (no matter what), the menu setup is pure shit (you hit back once and it takes you back to the main menu so you have to do everything all over again), you can't customize anything, etc. I figured all this out within 15 minutes of playing "Cossacks: The Art of War" (I got the Cossacks Anthology new [factory sealed] from Amazon for $20).
That sounds as annoying as people who spam new forum threads, good luck with it, but read well about any program before purchasing, and look for demos.
Could you include a link? Its much easier to avoid getting a game if you know what it looks like. Otherwise, we are guessing as to which game you could be talking about (I know of a few games that have similiar names).
I suggest a link to Wikipedia or Amazon showing us, or providing information about this product. Those 2 sites tend to work well for gathering information.
A decription of WHY it's bad is worth my time, not a baseless comment with hyperbole.
Look at reply #2.
forum nazi alert
Oooh oooh--- Who are we calling a nazi?
I want to play too.
I quite enjoyed Cossacks - its quite an old game though, I haven't played it for some time.
And please stop spamming repeat threads.
It was ok back in the day, different from most RTS at that time.
Dude stop making threads.
Next time you go to post a thread think and ask yourself these simple questions.
1) Is there a thread on this subject already?
2) Have I actually got anything to say?
3) Do people really give a shit about what I'm going to say?
If you did ask yourself these questions on your recent threads you have posted then I can assure you, you were wrong on 1 or more of the above questions.
People like you are why we need a negative karma button.
Of the 25-30 threads you've made in the past two weeks, about half of them have been videos of men being hit in the groin, advertisements for your own website, and now you've got at least four threads complaining about Cossacks (which would at least be justifiable if we sold it on Impulse, but AFAIK we don't).
At the very least, please restrict yourself to posting *once* about any given topic. The Off-topic and PC Games categories appear on numerous sites so redundant threads clogging up the listings can annoy a lot of users.
Nevermind.
There's nothing worse than being hit in the cossacks...
