Its not like it would matter much against other DG, but this would make it somewhat more viable for creep farming from range, which TB needs since he is so squishy. Also, since its FireBALL and not FireBOLT, it is usually standard for all Fireballs in all games to have splash dmg except here? The single hitting version is usually called FireBOLT. So either give it Splash DMG (in a small radius, maybe as small as angelic fury radius?) OR rename it to FireBOLT. Opinions?

You've got firenova for creep farming, its extremely effective. For giants you have circle of fire to combine with fire nova.
Splash dmg on fireball would make it overpowered. Fire tb is already pretty good and balanced.
TB can use rain of ice to farm from a distance. Or he can just set up a circle of fire.

Since he is extremely squishy, and all his other aoes in fire mode are centered around him, he need to get in close and personal to use them. Fireball is is only ranged dmg spell in fire mode. Also its called Fire BALL not BOLT!

If you got killed by creeps you seriously need to play some sp to learn to play.
Even giants don't have great damage output at all.
Alright, fine, I'll say a little more...
First, Circle of Fire is ranged in a sense, and furthermore it can be cast and left to burn the creeps whilst TB goes fishing or takes guitar lessons, doesnt really matter.
Second, why do you need range to farm creeps? They're never that scary, and TB is best of anyone at annihilating them, in either mode. He's squishy, sure, but c'mon... Creeps?
Third, who cares what it's called...? I could make an equally strong case that they rename it the Confetti Missile on the grounds that it would be amusing.
why not give his spells lifeleech as well since he is squishy. Maybe add a mana shield too that drains mana instead of health at a rate of .5 mana per 1pt dmg? Actually why not give him a spell at level 15 that kills everything on the map including the enemy citadel, as a reward for having to toil through the game as a poor squishy tb who doesn't even have lightning bolts or splash dmg fireballs that shoot from his arse.

Besides, if you are complaining about TB not being able to creep from range, try playing Sedna, and see how many ranged options you have there.
Or maybe just specc something else than "I am too stupid to change form"-builds.

so you are saying that if a DG already has splash dmg skills, he shouldnt have more? By that logic, why do regulus mines have splash dmg? he already have mark of the betrayer and angelic fury FFS! or ANY other dg with several splash dmg skills/attack. Like QoT who has splash dmg on normal attack, plus 2 aoes. ?
So, I don't follow... why does the DG who currently has the easiest time with creep farming (ranged or otherwise) 'need' fireball to deal splash damage? Are Fire Nova, Fire Circle, and Rain of Ice not doing the job for some reason because they all seem to work exceptionally well for me.

I agree everyone who is nailing the OP for "whining", that TB is fine as he is, and doesn't NEED more splash... But
Wouldn't it be COOLER if it had a small radius of splash damage that did like 100-200 damage (kind of like rook's hammer). Nothing to break the game, but just a nice effect.
I think it'd be cool if Sedna did an extra 200 in splash damage with every Pounce, too but if it ain't broke...

I think it would be good if UB flips the enemy a finger every time it casts spit. I think this is an important feature to add and I demand it.
Same with Rook dropping the hammer. Or rolling his rock (he could roll the rock and flip you off in one smooth motion)
As long as the finger deals an inconsequential 200 AOE damage, I'm all for it.
I'm surprised that GPG left out this necessary feature.
If Fireball did enough splash to kill creeps, it would be too imba. Fireball is cheep as hell mana wise, I'd never use Rain of Ice again if I could just use fireball.
Andi f you increase the mana cost of Fireball, it'd really hurt it's usefulness.
