Now, most have names, except the first 3. HEMA01 is Torchbearer, HEPA01 is Unclean Beast, and HGSA01 is Regulus. You'll notice there's an extra one, called HOculus. There's an H in front of all of them so it's just Oculus. New Demigod? Perhaps.
Abilities:Omniscience: The death of Oculus\' foes extends his vision. Every 3 enemies killed increases his sight range by 1. Now, we can assume that of the 3 unknown units, Oculus would probably be the "King" one (Throne). Due to some old concept art, I believe the other one has to be bird. Here is the (likely) concept art for Oculus and Bird Demigod:
yeah, oculus will very very probably be one of the two new demigods, cristal man or bird girl (dunno theirs names) will probably be the second.
I also think Oculus is the demigod frogboy described in his post about the first new demigod. Those files are here since the first beta, so they don't describe anything factual about oculus abilities, a lot can change in 6 monthes.
Anyway, i just wait for stardock/gpg to make more annoucements on that topic, the 2 new demigods were supposed to be added in the 2 monthes following the release, we shouldn't have to wait for too long.

I'm personally hoping for the Crystal demigod. That thing's pretty epic.
i also prefer his artwork to the others. But if you look at the old artworks for the demigod that are already in the game, most of them doesn't look great, and a lot of changes have been done until the final modelisation. I hope the same will apply for the new demigods.
NO NEW HEROS! not until they balance the current heroes and fix online play. This game is a fucking joke! it takes close to 25min to find a game for the pantheon. they need to stop this person to person connection shit and actually host real servers.
Warcraft 3, Starcraft 1,2 Diablo 1,2 and countless other games have been made with NO PROBLEM to the internet play, but yet this POS game cant get it right. Not only that but there heroes are so fucking unbalanced its not even funny. People are still using the cheat codes from months ago that were supposed to be fix.. but are not ( i know because i use them. no reason not too since Stardock doesn’t give a shit)
THIS GAME NEEDS TONES of work before they start releasing new heroes. Maps by all means should be released but not new heroes.
These have been rumoured since the beta. They're nothing new.
Oh the ignorance...
First of all, the teams that work on netcode and the teams that would be working on new Demigods are completely different. There's no reason why they can't work on multiple things at the same time, which I'm sure is what they're doing.
Second, the game is pretty balanced in the opinions of most people. Drastic and fast balance changes are not the way to go. They need to carefully make small adjustments as needed, which is what they've done so far. Overall, the game is fairly balanced. I haven't found any Demigod that is "unbeatable" or "worthless".
Third, I'm not sure what you're talking about in regards to "cheat codes", but i'm pretty sure you're full of it. I haven't seen any type of cheating online yet, so either show us some proof or drop it.

It's true that these screenshots have been out for quite some time, but I think the datamining information is pretty new (i had not seen it posted anywhere). It gives some pretty good insight as to what the devs are thinking as far as playstyle for Oculus.
Occulus isnt much of a demigod...he has no offensive skills geared towards other demigods. he has some nice debuffs and things to mess with against minions but thats about it. Unless the wisp skill works on demigods to, making them fall to their death, it will be a skill quickly recognized (something you would only die to once or twice)
The pictures Sevenix posted are cool, both of them would be cool to see in game; though the crystal lookin fellow would need to be redesigned a lil bit but the other guy looks cool.

You're right, it's been about 6 or 7 weeks since release. I just saw a post that guy made and he has no clue about what he's talking about. Don't take his words seriously.

Almost every match I play I think that at least one DG is overpowered. I started keeping a list so that I could track the specific ones and so far I am up to eight.
So now I'm trying to work out which ones are DOUBLY overpowered. The list is at five so far... but I still have 3 to play against...
I noticed the Oculus references when I went snooping around the files, too. Whether it's something planned for the future or something that was scrapped in the past remains unknown. One thing we can say is that any new demigods will likely be added in pairs; one general, one assassin. It seems odd that we'd have one reference floating around and another that's completely missing.
So, at this point I think the oculus is a possibility but I think it's too early to conclude anything. He could just as easily have been a scrapped concept that didn't work very well.

It loooks like Occulus will be an easy kill for any other demigod. He supposedly has low hitpoints and no real offensive powers. But I guess he will dominate minions. Also, the crystal guy doesn't look all that cool. I hope they polish him up a bit... Or just give him such ownage powers that it doesn't matter how stupid he looks.
